Between wrapping their new movie and making a spectacular appearance at Opening Ceremony’s FNO celebrations, the Muppets found time to collaborate on a Opening Ceremony collection. Animal, Fozzie, Kermit, Miss Piggy and Gonzo are all wearing items from the Opening Ceremony collection on their custom sweaters, hoodies and tees, while a series of button up shirts featuring their faces makes for a somwhat more grown-up Muppets look. That Fozzie sweater is all you, Waka Flocka.

Opening Ceremony pulled off something that we have never seen before for Fashion Night Out. Hosting several big events, OC launched lots of collaborative collections on the evening and presented lots of great interactive activities for everybody passing through and everybody that actually managed to get in. We were there to capture the mood of the night.

During this year’s Fashion’s Night Out event Opening Ceremony will be hosting a baseball stall. There, you can pitch to win or purchase the Keds Championship Series for OC baseball sneakers. First produced in the early 1990s, OC has revived the leather Pennant Oxford in three color ways: cream, black and multi-colored red, yellow and blue.

An interesting new shoe has released from the Opening Ceremony Fall/Winter 2011 Footwear Collection. The Multi Leather Oxford is inspired by a classic Oxford leather lace-up, featuring the usual wingtip accents. The one thing that sets them apart if the use of different leathers on the toe box and the rest of the shoe, resulting in a great look, especially because they are kept tonal. Hunting And Collecting has the shoes in stock now.

Today Opening Ceremony revealed the new Fall/Winter 2011 Collection, that they created in collaboration with rising star Rodarte. The new collection features for a the first time also a wider selection of goods for men, including pants, shirts, pants and knitwear. As usual Rodarte impresses with the knitwear and especially the patterns, which came out unique and beautiful, while still having a rather classic appeal.

From Selectism comes a new round of espadrilles from Soludos for Opening Ceremony. “we’ve added FIVE more styles to the mix, on top of the existing brown and green Moroccan print and cork color ways. New to the family are a pink and black liberty print, red and indigo linen, and oatmeal. Available for both men and women.”

We present the upcoming Opening Ceremony Spring/Summer 2012 Collection Lookbook. The upcoming collection seems to be heavily French inspired in terms of styles, while playing with traditional colors and patterns and unique accents on the pieces. The New York brand also continues to set accents with neon socks and footwear, while keeping the upper parts of the outfits more classic.

“Shot by Todd Jordan, the Spring/Summer 2012 Opening Ceremony Men’s lookbook features BFFs Benjamin Baptiste, Max Feuer and Alex Soroken in upcoming OC looks. That’s right – these boys, who all hail from the Berkshires, have known each other forever. Says Ben of himself and his buddies, “We’ve been friends pre-armpit hair for sure.” During the photo sesh, the entire cast and crew was smitten by Ben’s French bulldog Fredo, who kept following his master onto the set, even as Todd snapped away! Styled by Lester Garcia, the shoot had us wishing for 2012 like no other.”

Opening Ceremony presents their latest video production. Entitled ‘22′, the video has been produced by Gia Coppola and features clothing from the Opening Ceremony x Reyn Spooner Capsule Collection.

Tucker Blair has teamed up with Opening Ceremony to combine the needlepoint craftsmanship of the designer with the playful design, that OC has become known for. Comprised of overall 5 designs, each belt features embroidered motives, created by Opening Ceremony.

The belts will be available exclusively at Opening Ceremony New York, Los Angeles, Ace Hotel NYC, and online at OpeningCeremony.us beginning Monday, July 15th.

The popular Opening Ceremony M! Desert Boot comes in a refreshing salmon suede colorway for Summer 2011. The mid top features a thin leather outer sole with gum heel and leather lining. These go perfect with dark denim and navy chinos and are a little different from all the standard colors that you find out there. The boots are now available from Soto.
