Pendleton and Opening Ceremony continue to work on their collaborative collection for Spring/Summer 2010 and today we can show you the full lookbook of the mens and womens collection. Opening Ceremony once again managed to apply iconic Pendleton fabrics and patterns to modern silhouettes, resulting in a great look. The collection consists of shirts, jackets, shorts and other pieces and will be released in stores in the coming months.

It took a while, but this weekend the first H&M store opened its doors in Japan in the Ginza district. The grand opening of the store began with a ribbon cut by CEO Rolf Eriksen and Christine Edman, H&M’s country manager in Japan, which led the 5000 people who queued (crazy) to flow into the sparkling new store. 

H&M GINZA have approximately 1000m2 of sales area over four floors, from basement to 3rd floor, exhibiting Womens, Mens, and Accessories concepts.

The arrival of H&M in Japan will be properly celebrated with the Comme Des GarconsFor H&M collection , next month.

Sounds Good is a label and store concept by United Arrows. Recently their new Shibuya store opened its doors. Next to its own collection, the store also presents a variety of other sportswear brands, including the new Nike Sportswear collection, as well as other high end lines from all major sportswear companies.
As usual, the Japanese store looks great. For the opening they exhibited a couple of sculptures made up of Nike sneakers. Pics via Detz Matsuda/Yoshikage Kajiwara.

Over the years we have become used to seeing people cue for product, sneakers, collections launches and other things, but we can safely say, that we have never seen anything like the opening of the new Johnny Cupcakes store in Los Angeles.
The Hundreds did a good job documenting the opening, from the store itself to the VIP tent, the cuing and the arrival of Johnny.
Congrats to Johnny for the new store, hopefully we can visit it soon! If you have time, visit it on Melrose.

Long in the making, the new Johnny Cupcakes store on Melrose in Los Angeles now finally has a fixed opening date. The new store marks the second store overall of the brand, the first being in Boston.
The Los Angeles retail market certainly seems healthy, with a new store opening up almost weekly. Just in recent weeks we have seen Huf, Upper Playground, Bape and now also Johnny Cupcakes.

As reported by us yesterday, Huf is opening their Los Angeles store today and of course they will have some special product ready for the opening. They got together with Stussy on some t-shirts and they will also be releasing their Vans Satin Pack collaboation Sk8-Hi’s.

The Bape LA store opens this week and last night they celebrated the occasion of the opening. Lots of celebrities showed up, including N.E.R.D., Nigo, Takashi Murakami, Mike Tyson, Dr. Romanelli and many more.
Thanks to Supertouch we can give you a look at the new store, the people that were at the opening and also the Bape L.A. exclusive Roadsta sneaker, which comes in an orange/purple colorway.

After recent openings of Stussy Washington D.C., Hawaii and Toronto, the next opening is just around the corner. Stussy Philadelphia will occupy the 2nd floor of the current Ubiq location on Walnut St. starting April 19th. Zozotown will get another great store towards the end of the month. On the 23rd of April A.P.C. will open its doors inside Zozotown. Of course some special product will also be available for the opening.
