Peanuts 60th Anniversary Product - Converse, Longchamp, Lacoste, Loopwheeler

Peanuts is celebrating its 60th anniversary. For the occasion they present a series of interesting product collaborations, including clothing with Lacoste, Loopwheeler, Hysteric Glamour and Original Fake. Also they worked on a sneaker with Converse, the Chuck Taylor All Star. Other collaborators include Mulberry, Medicom on Bearbricks and Longchamp on a bag. The entire range of product will soon be available from Dover Street Market.

Original Fake Peacoat Fall/Winter 2010

A very solid peacoat has released this week from the Original Fake Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. They kept it close to the original, adding some minor leather details on the pockets and the cuffs, as well as some subtle Kaws X-eye details on the buttons. The jacket is now in stock at L’Intrus.

Original Fake Online Store Opening Limited Items

Medicom Toy announces the opening of an Original Fake online store. The new shop launches this coming Saturday, September 4, 2010 at store.original-fake.com. The launch will of course include several opening exclusives such as the above Fluo Kaws and Fluo Accomplice t-shirts.

Bape x Original Fake - Kaws Companion x Baby Milo Toy Preview

Back in April we featured the Original Fake 4th Anniversary t-shirt collaboration with BAPE, where the Baby Milo character was reinterpreted through a Kaws Companion lens. Looking back over our Kaws Aldrich exhibit photos, we noticed this toy that explores a similar aesthetic. These two certainly aren’t dissected like the tee, but they’re undeniably Bape meets Kaws. Sure to be a much sought after item when they drop. Stay tuned for release info.

OriginalFake Kaws Dissected Companion 200% Bearbrick - A Detailed Look

After a small preview the other day, we can give you a detailed look at the latest toy to come from Medicom and New York artist Kaws, under the umbrella of the Original Fake brand. The Chogokin Dissected Companion 200% Bearbrick is made of multiple metal parts, allowing for the toy to be much more movable. In case you have never held one of these toys in your hand, we can assure you that they feel much more premium than your regular Bearbrick. The toy releases this weekend at Original Fake retailers, including Invincible.
