The second version of the Original Fake x Hajime Sorayama No Future Companion toy is being released this weekend at the Original Fake store in Tokyo. After previously coming out with a dark black silver version of the metal sculpture, it now comes in a light silver version. So far there is no word yet if the toy will again release on Kawsone, but we will of course keep you posted.

For the first time since launching the brand a couple of years ago, Original Fake presents an official collection lookbook for Fall/Winter 2009. We get a little preview of both t-shirts, graphics and cut-and-sew styles that will be released in the next couple of months. The lookbook does not show the entire new collection, but the first part of it. The website has also been updated, now giving more information around the brand, along with a dedicated blog for the Tokyo flagship store.

A rather simple and classic looking knit cap is coming as part of the Original Fake Fall/Winter 2009 Collection. The knit hat comes in four colorways and features a white stripe design and subtle OF logo tag. The cap is now available from the honeyee.store.

Dover Street Market has re-opened today, presenting new looks on all floors. The store is known for having dedicated spaces for different brands, each especially designed by the respective brand. The release includes character t-shirts, a button down shirt, stickers, beanies, handkerchiefs, a sticker set, socks and more. The Kaws Original Fake “No Future Companion” Toy was released today on Kawsone and sold out in the matter of 10 minutes. If you could not get the toy, you can at least get the matching t-shirt, which has also been released at Original Fake retailers today. The t-shirt features the original drawing by Hajime Sorayama, which was used for the creation of the 3D figure. The tee is now available in two colorways at L’Intrus.

After showing you the first official picture of the upcoming Kaws Original Fake x Hajime Sorayama No Future Companion this morning, we can now show you some new detailed images of this impressive toy. The details are stocking and you can be sure that the quality of the toy is outstanding. The figure will be released this coming Saturday at Original Fake Tokyo. The artists have worked for almost three years on the figure, to make sure that they are getting it right! We think they sure did!

The much anticipated collaboration of Kaws’ Original Fake label and Japanese artist Hajime Sorayama on the Companion toy has been announced. Finally we get a more detailed look at the 33cm high and 3kg heavy metal toy, which fuses the iconic character of New York artist Kaws and the robotic sculptures of the Japenese artist. You can expect a price point of around 1000 USD. More news on the release very soon.

After the Companion Keyrings, the Chum character is now up for the treatment by Original Fake. For those of you that missed the actual toy releases since 1998, here is your chance to get a piece of this great character by Kaws. The keyring comes in overall 5 colorways and they will be released at colette on June 26th.
