OriginalFake offers a preview of their Spring/Summer 2011 collection with some snapshots of the new gear. As expected the line features tees, button downs, chinos and more, all adorned with signature Kaws imagery. The collection is set to arrive on January 15, 2011. Taiwan’s Invincible pulls the covers off their forthcoming collaboration with Kaws’ OriginalFake. Hoodies and t-shirts are adorned with some familiar OriginalFake branding including both the ‘X X’ eyes and the Chomper print. Both items are offered in black/purple and red/black color options and are scheduled to drop at Invincible, ISETAN and OriginalFake Aoyama on February 6th.

Goodlife has received a large shipment of new Spring/Summer 2008 OriginalFake gear. Among the goods were also these Chompers Pants. The cotton pants feature the Kaws Chompers design on the back pockets and are now available in two colorways.

Kaws gives a nice teaser and outlook of what to expect from the artist and his OriginalFake label this year. It seems like a SpongeBob collaboration is just around the corner. Let’s see what else besides t-shirts we can expect, hopefully also a toy!

OriginalFake showcases  their latest work, a collaboration with Taiwanese actress Shu Qi. The design shows the softcore porn star turned actress with the Kaws Bendy character. Expect to soon see t-shirts with this design! We would actually hope for a nice screenprint of the design – only time will tell.
UPDATE: Kaws just introduced the project on his blog and explains the background. This is a collaboration of CLOT, OriginalFake and actress Shu Qi, as part of the CLOT Fantasy series, which already invited several actresses earlier this year. The t-shirt is a New Year special, thus should be released in the coming days.
