This week The Avant/Garde Diaries have met up with two people that we have been closely following for the last couple of years. Marco Velardi is one of the founders of our favorite interiors magazine, Apartamento, and Marco introduces his friend Christopher Nying, the founder and designer of Swedish brand Our Legacy. As part of its Fall/Winter 2011 Collection, Swedish brand Our Legacy has worked with Ebbets Field Vintage on some baseball caps.

“Made in the U.S.A. of course, the caps for the Scandinavian men’s power line come in a few colors of your choosing. The fit of the cap is well into the golden age of baseball.”

In time for fall we present a new fashion editorial. Entitled Sea Breeze, the spread perfectly illustrates the move from late summer to fall, featuring some of our favorite brands out there. Selectism weighs in on the latest from Our Legacy. –

“Happy Memorial Day to all who celebrate. On a beautiful day like today, we present the campaign looks from the Our Legacy Spring/Summer 2011 collection. The men in these shots are doing what most do on normal days: stopping trucks, running in hikers down a city street, and rocking pot-laden shirts that make everyone jealous. We love this shoot.”

Swedish brand Our Legacy has released first pieces from their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. The young brand continues to develop nicely, including classic pieces with subtle twists into their collection, while keeping a high quality standard and good price level. We especially like how easy to wear the entire collection is, without being boring at all. We present you their new wool/cashmere blazer, bomber jacket, waxed canvas parka, as well as some shirts from the collection, which all arrived this week at Soto Berlin (storeguide).

We really like how Swedish brand Our Legacy is developing. The brand just really seems to know what look they want and every new piece in the collection perfectly fits into that mindset. For Fall/Winter 2009 the brand will be offering a more extensive leather goods range, consisting of several bags, as well as small leather goods, such as key chains and pouches. As usual, branding is minimal on all pieces and quality is on point. Via Selectism.

Dazed & Confused sat down with the Swedish label Our Legacy, that we report about once in a while. The rather young brand is making big moves and so it looks like it was the right time to hear what the designers have to say about the brand and their future. Read it here.

From Swedish brand Our Legacy’s Spring/Summer 2009 Collection come some nice and simple new canvas trainers. They present the sneakers in three colorways – white, blue and red. They will be available soon at Our Legacy retailers.

Swedish brand Our Legacy presents a nice series of leather accessories as part of their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. Coming in light brown leather, they offer a document bag, duffle bag and a matching double ring belt. The leather is a little too light, but with aging these pieces will be perfect.
