This week, we’re able to show you a selection of apparel within the adidas Originals collaboration with Burton, designed by Kazuki Kuraishi, who was previously the mastermind behind the adidas Originals by Originals kzk range. The jacket and vest both combine adidas and Burton DNA with Kazuki’s distinctly Japanese aesthetic. Look for a release shortly.

Burton has unveiled the official uniform for the U.S. Snowboarding Team at the Vancouver 2010 Olympics – and it’s denim and plaid!

“The inspiration behind the U.S. Snowboarding Team outerwear for the 2010 Olympics is classic Americana,” says Greg Dacyshyn, Senior Vice President of Creative at Burton. “Although we are creating a uniform, our first objective is to express the individuality of snowboarding.  As such, we are taking vintage American looks and interpreting them in a very unique and unexpected fashion. Finally, we will ensure that all of the highest technical attributes are maintained in the pieces, so that performance and function are not jeopardized.  The result will be a progressive and fresh look that challenges the former conservatism of the Olympics.”

Following the huge success of the 25th Anniversary Duffer capsule collection which hit stores in August, we are now able to present to you the second wave release. Drawing inspiration from the core heritage of the brand and reworking some of the more classic pieces, the collection comprises several nice winter jackets including a Quilted jacket, Tartan Bomber, and Duffle (seen after the jump). Triple Fat Goose hit us up with a peek into their fall/winter 2009 lookbook. Amongst the brand’s usual trappings, namely super heavy goose down outerwear, Triple Fat Goose also presents several lighter options this season alongside a nice selection of cold weather accessories. Japanese outerwear brand Afdicegear presents their new Fall/Winter 2009-2010 Collection. When it comes to snowboard wear choice becomes pretty limited, with a few big players taking up the market. Afdicegear has been doing their thing for a minute already and has come known for producing some of the best outerwear in the market. The new collection is no different and presents some well constructed technical jackets and shell jackets, using Gore-Tex fabrics and adding lots of little details and features. We also like the colors in the collection, which are strong compared to the pretty subtle branding.

Some nice new items from the Original Fake Fall/Winter 2009 Collection have been released. Together with New Era they present new 5-panel snap back caps, coming in two checker colorways with the Kaws Chumpers design on the back. Furthermore a new pair of damaged denim has come out, along with a subtle black Gore Windstopper vest.

King Stampede just finished shooting the look book for their Spring/Summer 2010 Subliminal Seducers collection. Photographed by Shawn Brackbill, it features KS riders Danny Supa, Daniel Castillo and Matt Chaffin. Garments move towards a timeless look with quality, everyday items by way of cut and sew tops, bottoms and outerwear. Overall a strong offering in both style and concept. All clothing pictured will be hitting retailers mid February 2010.
