One of the more interesting footwear related articles of the last month or so came from New York Magazine  . Basically, the piece covers the basics about why shoes are actually not all that good for you, and highlights the few companies that are working toward achieving a bare foot feel.&#160;

One of the more interesting footwear related articles of the last month or so came from <a href="http://nymag.com/health/features/46213/" target="_new"><i>New York</a> Magazine</link>  . Basically, the piece covers the basics about why shoes are actually not all that good for you, and highlights the few companies that are working toward achieving a bare foot feel.&nbsp;<br />
Aside from the content, another highlight of the article comes in the form of the painted foot photographs. With the power of paint, feet were transformed into an <a href="http://www.adidas.com" target="_new">Adidas</a> gazelle, a handsome wingtip and a high heel. Thanks to <a href="http://lunaticadesnuda.blogspot.com/" target="_new">Lunatica Desnuda</a>, the artists responsible for the feet are now known. New York based Tempu Paints, specialists in body art and temporary tattoos, did the fine work.<br />
