Entitled ETUDES, the Hixsept collection for Fall/Winter 2011 was designed around notions of research, exploration, and experimentation. Comprised of chinos, shirts in Liberty, chambray and checkered patterns, an oilcloth raincoat, an oversized vest, a wool cardigan, raw denim, and a work jacket the offering is wide and considered.

The collection is punctuated by two collaborations with classic French brands: Armor Lux and Paraboot. Using their flagship products, HIXSEPT created items that speak to the stories of both labels.

Japanese brand Victim worked as part of their Spring 2010 Collection with Paraboot on deck shoes. They kept it classic on the shoes and present a brown leather pair with matching brown laces, as well as a navy suede pair with white laces. The Victim x Paraboot “Barth” Deck Shoes are now available from Corner’s Ark.

Sophnet presents once again some great footwear collaborations in their new Fall/Winter 2009-2010 Collection. This season they worked with Visvim on the Skagway high top sneaker, with Danner on their Light boot, with Buttero on a high top suede boot and with Paraboot on a mixed leather/horse hair boot.

As part of their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection, Japanese accessories brand hobo has gotten together with Paraboot. Known for their high quality leather accessories, the match is perfect, and hobo chose to work on the Paraboot “Mucy” style. The mid boot comes in a nice worn out brown leather and is perfect for in between the seasons.

Next to New Balance, Nonnative got together with another iconic footwear brand this season – Paraboot. The classic shoe and boot manufacturer worked on a special version of their “Stuart” boots for Nonnative. The boots come in dark brown and beige, feature all the classic Paraboot branding, and some special laces. The collaboration is only mentioned on the lining.
