Here comes an interesting new collaboration between Dutch artist Parra and Pendleton Woolen Mills. The artist created a wool blanket with the iconic brand. The 60 x 90 inch blanket comes in a limited edition 0f 125 pieces and is now available from Arkitip for 410 USD.

One of the guest artists of the Stussy Spring 2012 Collection is Dutch artist Parra. He designed a series of 4 graphic t-shirts for the new collection, each coming in his signature style and colors. As usual Japan gets the early treatment and has just launched them in their online store, with the rest of the world hopefully following soon.

G-Shock gets ready to release their next collaboration watch. They got together with Dutch artist Parra on the DW-5600 watch. The DW-5600PR-4ER watch comes in a contrasting 4 color-way design – baby blue, baby pink, red and orange; a palette reflecting the minimal style adopted throughout the majority of Parra’s design work.

Remaining rooted in G-Shock technology, the Parra X G-shock retains the original features of the DW-5600. The watch will be released mid November 2011 and will go for 100 Pounds.

Dutch artist Parra has teamed up with Sly from Japan on a series of iPhone 4 covers. Overall they present three styles, each featuring signature graphics by the artist. The covers are now available for purchase via Rockwell.

Dutch artist Parra returned to Los Angeles Thursday night, opening ‘The How Original Show’ at HVW8 Art + Design Gallery. The exhibition consists of all new work in the form of drawings and paintings – including watercolor works – a departure from his well known numbered silkscreen editions. The show runs through November 6, 2011.

Stussy got together with Dutch artist Parra to celebrate the 10th anniversary of Hawaii store Kicks/Hi. As part of the small capsule collection they present a special graphics t-shirt and a matching snapback cap. The product is now available at select Stussy retailers, including St. Alfred and of course Kicks/Hi.

Mr. Boonstra and Parra created a music video for “Put Your Gun Away” by Rimer London featuring South African singer Cata Pirata. In the video Rimer London and Cata Pirata “battle it out in a “carnival cut-out” by means of Parra’s iconic characters.” Rockwell also created a matching t-shirt.

From Curated – “Produced by Belgian company Toykyo – which specializes in artist designed product – Parra’s latest sculpture, “Take a Rest,” is released in a limited run of 70 units. Those numbers are spread over three color options – black, blue, and red – making the individual porcelain pieces rather rare. Each comes in a screen printed and numbered commemorative box.”

Every once in a while, illustrator Craig Redman teams up with another artist and/or creative with his Darcel character. The last one was with one of our favorite – Dutch artist Parra. The outcome is the above “Aloha From Hell” image. The next one is with Cap & Pep, we will keep you posted.
