Young Parisian brand Waiting For The Sun has gotten together with Dutch artist Parra and his brand Rockwell to collaborate on their “LA Une” frame for Spring/Summer 2011. Made entirely out of bamboo, the artist gave the sunglasses a multicolor look. The limited edition sunglasses come with a matching scarf and are now available here.

The two long time collaborators, Dutch artist Parra and Amsterdam based store Patta have once again gotten together. In true Parra style the artist remixed the store logo for two new limited edition t-shirts, that are now available at Patta.

Converse debuts its Converse (PRODUCT)RED Fall/Holiday 2010 (Paint The Town) RED collection of Chuck Taylor All Star shoes done in collaboration with Parra, Giovanni Estevez, Aaron Martin and Cody Hudson. Continuing the Converse (PRODUCT)RED goal of using art to change the world, each artist was asked to use their unique art and style to create a special shoe that with the sale of each shoe, 10% of the net wholesale price will go to The Global Fund to help fight AIDS in Africa. The name (Paint The Town) RED is both a nod to each artist’s roots in graffiti and street art, as well as the goal of creating awareness and inviting others to join (RED) in the fight against AIDS in Africa. And as one of the most iconic shoes used throughout the decades by street artists and creative individuals everywhere, Chuck Taylor All Star shoes are the perfect muse for the project. Each shoe in the collection is unique, yet is unified with an iced outsole with a paint brush stroke. The four artist models will launch exclusively at Converse’s First String retailers throughout Fall 2010 commencing with the Parra Chuck Taylor silhouette dropping in August, 2010.

As previewed the other day, Dutch artist Parra will be dropping some cherry bombs in a collab with Converse on a pair of “(Paint the Town)RED” Chuck Taylor Highs. Featured in beige suede the sneakers are adorned with an all-over embroidered graphic of Parra’s Cherry character. The Parra x Converse(RED) Chuck Taylor High will be released soon at select accounts.

To announce the upcoming launch of the Converse (Paint the Town) RED project in collaboration with Dutch graphic artist Parra, the artist created a short teaser animation. Rockwell Clothing, the brand by Dutch artist Parra, presents a series of handmade tote bags with Daver. It seems like the bags have been produced out of t-shirts, featuring the designs by Parra. Each bag is different and they are now available in the Rockwell online store.
