adidas made use of the Bread&Butter Winter 2010 get together to celebrate the launch of their Star Wars collaboration collection that we already reported on several times. The party took place in a cool underground location in Berlin. These New Puritans played live for most of the evening and made sure that the crowd was properly entertained. Free drinks of course also helped.

Last week Nike celebrated their new True City iPhone application, a city guide from insiders for insiders, with a showroom exhibition and a launch party. The showroom exhibition took place in their Berlin Spirit Room and showcased the new application. On Wednesday they celebrated the new application. They got together with Patta, Pigalle and Firmament to party at Bar Tausend in Berlin. As you can imagine, with partners like these on board, the evening turned out fun.

Just this morning we gave you a look at the Plus 41 "Roger Federer" installation at the Nike 0808 store in Berlin. For the occasion there was also a follow-up eventafterwards. In a small round of 20 people, Nike invited for dinner at the Shiro iShiro in Berlin, a great Asian fusion restaurant inside the Lux 11 hotel.

For the after party Nike invited together with LiveDemo DJ AM to perform. The event took place on a Tuesday night, and the 200 + people that attended (including us) had a great time for sure. DJ AM did a great job choosing the right mood for the evening. A good sign for a great party is always when it is supposed to stop at 1am and ends up going on until 3am.

In the middle of the week we gave you a small look at the Stussy x EPMD "Strictly Business" party that took place in Las Vegas beginning of the week. 
"On Monday, August 25th, Stussy hosted a party with hip hop legends EPMD at club Moon at The Palms Hotel in Las Vegas. One thousand people packed into the capacity filled venue to witness Erick Sermon and Parrish Smith run through a set of their classic hits which included "You Gots to Chill", "Strictly Business" and "Crossover". Dj’s Neil Armstrong, Wristpect and Sample208 spun jams to keep the party moving."

Monday, August 25th marks the debut of the S.L.A.T.E. trade show in Las Vegas. There will be a party that night at The Palms Moon nightclub featuring EPMD, DJ Wristpect and DJ Neil Armstrong. This event is brought to you by Stussy, Undefeated, Ransom, S.L.A.T.E. and Complex Magazine. There’s also a special edition Stussy tee for the event.
Since their debut in 1988, the legendary hip-hop group EPMD (made up of Erick Sermon and Parrish Smith) has been producing classic albums like Strictly Business for their fans. The duo from Long Island sampled funk and rock beats under lyrically clever rhymes thus contributing to the new direction of sample heavy hip hop as we know it today. They have been working on a new album, We Mean Business, scheduled to release in September 2008.

It’s this time of the year again – Bread & Butter. The show starts today and already the first event took place last night. Slam Jam x Chikashitsu launched the first group ofthe Stussy x Neighborhood Boneyards collection in Barcelona with a get together at the Chikashitsu store. Lots of people came through and there was a good vibe. 
Chikashitsu looked better than ever, not only having the Boenyards collection in stock, but also the latest from Visvim, Undercover and all your other favorite Japanese brands.

Cobra Snake was on hand to snap photos of the Claw Money x Boost Mobile launch party. Working with Boost, Claw has created a line of eight vegan friendly, environmentally sound bags and cases. Claw’s characteristic bold prints and custom charms drive the collection.

Over the weekend, the sneaker boutique PHANTACi in Taipei, held the “I Can’t Brake” party. The party was put together by PHANTACi, nabiis (a fixed gear bike store in Taipei) and starfuckers (a japanese bike shop).

They released limited edition t-shirts in black and white for the event and also presented some collaborative fixed gear bikes, done bz nabiis and starfuckers, each in collaboration with PHANTACi.

Next week is once again Magic time. The entire industry heads over to Las Vegas for the week and of course there are tons of parties going on. One of the more interesting events is for sure the Ransom x Undefeated x Stussy “Scared Money Don’t Make Money” party, taking place at the Downtown Cocktail Room on the 13th of February.
