Today we came across a nice series of Keds Champion OX sneakers, made for Japanese retailer Beams. Just like the previous Beams x Vans Era collaboration, the retailer chose to give this classic a patent leather make-over. The Champion OX comes in red, blue and white, all with a complete patent leather upper, giving them an overall clean and dressed up appearance.

Thanks to our stay in Beijing at the moment we can give you a preview of the Nike Dunk Hi "Quilted Patent" pack. The pack consists of overall 5 Dunk Hi’s, each coming with an upper entirely made of patent leather. On top of that the patent leather has a quilted pattern embroidered over the upper. The sole comes in the matching color as well as the lining.

The Triple Threat Project continues this month and the collaborative project consisting of Stussy, Undefeated and Hectic will be releasing a new set of New Balance MT580’s. This time they worked with an array of strong colors and the uppers are almost entirely made up of patent leather.
The pack (more pics) consists of three sneakers and will be released at Undefeated Japan Chapter Stores on April 26th.

Ato Matsumoto’s take on a sneaker has produced a stunning and functional styled piece of footwear that has yet hardly made it out of Japan until now. The brand got a lot of press last year after Kanye West was seen rocking the Ato Cow Hide Boots.
For 2008 the Japanese designer presents a new set of Cow Hide Boots consisting of a black, white and all silver colorway. It features 2 velcro straps and comes in a mix of patent leather and regular premium leather.
These three colorways will be released at Rowgage on 4th of April. Check them out in detail after the jump.

Here is the latest Converse x Beams collaboration. This time they worked on the Converse Chuck Taylor Hi. Similar to previous Beams collaborations with Vans, the Japanese store chose to use black and white patent leather as the main material for the upper.
These are now available at Beams store.

Thanks to Complex we can give you a look at the Lupe Fiasco x Converse Chuck Taylor Hi’s, that are part of the Product (RED) line. The shoes come all in black patent leather, including the toe box. The outersole comes in a contrasting red.
For now there is no release date and it’s not sure if they will actually be released, but we’ll keep you posted!

The other day we presented you the first Adidas Forum 25th Anniversary, that came in all silver. Here now another colorway, also made to celebrate the shoes 25th anniversary.
“Detroit Pistons basketball star Chauncey Billups will be at Puffer Red’s in Ypsilanti on Saturday to unveil the “Puffer Red’s Limited Edition Forum” sneaker, part of a national Adidas promotion.

The shoe company is marking the 25th anniversary of its Forum basketball shoe, and Puffer Red’s, an apparel and music store in downtown Ypsilanti, is one of four retailers nationwide selected to be part of the celebration. Meeting Chauncey
Detroit Pistons star Chauncey Billups will be in Ypsilanti on Saturday at a basketball shoe promotion.

Rayvon Williams, the 18-year-old son of Puffer Red’s owner Eric Williams, designed the special edition shoe, which will be sold nationally.

Williams is a student at Lansing Community College, but will be starting at the Fashion Careers College in San Diego next year, after winning a scholarship in a fashion design contest. The shoe, which retails for $110, features the Puffer Red’s logo and bright, primary colors.” Via Mlive.
The Forum comes in all patent leather and like a few other sneakers that we have seen this year comes in a multicolor design. Until now the sneaker has not landed at other stores, so keep your eyes open.

A great new pack has been released in Japan – the Nike Wingtip Pack. Inspired by classic tuxedo shoes, the pack features a Dunk Lo Premium and Dunk Hi Premium, both coming in white and black leather and black patent leather with laser accents.

Today we came across a nice new release by Stussy and Porter – the Vehicle Collection. It’s a collection of different size wallets that come in several colorways – red, black and white. The entire line comes in patent leather, which gives it a bit the look of a car paint job, so our guess is, that that’s where the name comes from. Pics via Respectable Things.
