Today we came across a fantastic personal blog by Google Creative Lab’s Ed Kim. Kim has launched his personal blog called “Wear Today”, which he shows what he is wearing every day illustrated. After Jean Paul Gaultier, UK designer Paul Smith is the next one in line to design a limited edition bottle for French water maker Evian. The bottle comes with a very clean design and features the signature colors of the designer, along with his signature. The bottle is now available at finer food stores.

Burton Snowboards and Paul Smith Jeans have once again joined creative forces for their third limited-edition collection. Following on the worldwide success of their two previous collaborations, the 2009 collection will be sold in Paul Smith shops throughout the UK and at Burton Flagship Stores worldwide beginning in September 2009.

The latest collaboration expands beyond exclusive snowboarding outerwear pieces to include apparel pieces such as jeans, t-shirts, snowboarding first layer pieces, sweatshirts and jackets. The pieces were designed to combine Burton’s innovative fabric technology with Paul Smith’s inventive designs. The focal point of the 2009 Fall/Winter collection is a bondage-inspired snowboarding jacket that combines fashion and function with welded pockets, taped seams, a pass pocket, gauntlet cuffs and an adjustable hood. The jacket is available in two colorways; black shiny rubber and jacquard leopard print.

Design Museum has joined forces with Beefeater 24 to celebrate the fearlessly progressive spirit of London’s greatest creative minds, past and present. At the heart of the exhibition are fifteen commissions from some of London’s most dynamic creatives, as a group they demonstrate the diverse approaches to design in London. Among the participants in the exhibition are Zaha Hadid, Tom Dixon, Paul Smith and others.

Paul Smith created a rabbit rubbish bin for the city of London. The ‘New London Rubbish Bin’ will be popping up in Covent Garden and Holland Park for a four-month trial period from 28th May. The giant rabbit bins, with ears that light up when anyone puts rubbish in them, are Paul Smith’s contribution to Super Contemporary – an exhibition which opens on 3rd June 2009 at the Design Museum.

LeBook London 2009 has just been released and this time they worked with designer Paul Smith to design the issue. The book gives you all information that one could ever need in London, when working in the creative industry. It is now available at colette.

Rhodia is celebrating their 75th anniversary and for the occasion they worked with Paul Smith to give their infamous notebooks a new look. The outcome are two sets of notebooks, each featuring 4 graphics by the British designer, as well as his signature pattern at the bottom. Look out for these to release soon. Via Selectism.

Paul Smith opened in their Space Gallery in Japan “Project 10″. The gallery showcases original Paul Smith prints. The prints will be released on Paul Smith bags, one released every week for the next 14 weeks. Furthermore they also produced a special Paul Smith Project 10 cotton tote bag, which features a print of all the prints. Some of the bags will come with pictures taken by Paul Smith personally.
