Here comes an interesting new collaboration between Dutch artist Parra and Pendleton Woolen Mills. The artist created a wool blanket with the iconic brand. The 60 x 90 inch blanket comes in a limited edition 0f 125 pieces and is now available from Arkitip for 410 USD.

Kith gets together with Pendleton on a Made in USA Varsity Jacket Collection for Holiday 2011. Manufactured by Goldenbear, fabrics from the Pendleton archive were chosen for this collaborative collection.

“There are four styles total; Kilim Green Navajo with Brown leather sleeves and dark brown wool body, Bravestar Navajo with Grey leather sleeves and grey wool body, Kilim Red Navajo with Tan nubuck featured for the full body and sleeves, and Pecos Navajo with White leather sleeves and grey wool body.”

The jackets are releasing today at 11am EST at Kith stores in Brooklyn and New York City, as well as the Kith online store and are priced at 400-450 USD. The brown leather one seen here above, is in our opinion the most timeless pieces in the series.

Stussy keeps up their run of constant high profile collaborations. Most interesting though, is the fact that the brand can collaborate with brands that hardly anybody in its space gets to work with. The latest one is a team up with Portland’s Pendleton Woolen Mills. Together they present a check wool shirt and the Zulu Muchacho Blanket. Both pieces will release December 17th, 2011, at Stussy stores.

Vans has a cool underground release coming from Classics/Core this weekend at the 58th Annual Chicago Powwow. For the fourth time, Steve Van Doren worked with the Nibwaakaawin, a nonprofit that focuses on empowering the Native American Youth through skateboarding, and has created a special run of Pendleton Sk8-His, Classic Slip-Ons and Chukka Lows for their Chicago Powwow event. Proceeds from the sale with go directly to the nonprofit and if there are any shoes available after the event, they will be available for purchase online through Vans.

For Autumn/Winter 2011, Shwood has joined forces with fellow Oregon-based company Pendleton Woolen Mills on a limited run of Shwood’s “Canby” frame style. Crafted from Oregon-grown Cherry wood, the frames feature laser engraved temples adorned with Pendleton’s iconic “Chief Joseph” pattern. Taking the collaboration a step further, Pendleton manufactured a matching carrying pouch woven from a limited batch of wool, exclusive to the project. With both parties dedicated to domestic manufacturing, the project pays tribute to the state of Oregon and the heritage manufacturing techniques that make the products great.

The moto jacket remains to be one of our favorite silhouettes from the collaborative Opening Ceremony and Pendleton collections. The latest one has just released, coming in grey and featuring the signature patterns of Pendleton all over. The wool coat is now in stock from ForwardForward.

Pendleton have used their Tracer pattern woven on the outer of this fine bomber hat. The wool-fleece lined heater style hat features fold-down, faux-fur lined ear flaps with a fasten clip to hold them together and the brand’s label is stitched on the back of the hat to finish it off. It comes in both tan and black with different shades of the Tracer pattern and is available now from End Clothing.

Arkitip presents its first project with Pendleton Woolen Mills, featuring artist Michael Leon. The artist has designed the first in a series of artistically driven for Pendleton. The outcome is a Pendleton wool blanket, Made in the USA, in an edition of 125. Check out the video here below, narrated by Leon, featuring the final product.
