Pendleton has certainly some interesting projects going on these days. In recent seasons we have seen collaborations with Nike, Opening Ceremony, Hurley, Vans and Comme des Garcons. Next up is a project with Levi’s, which will be launched early November 2010.

“Portland, Ore.-based Pendleton, which was founded in 1909, created an exclusive Native American-inspired jacquard print, in blue, gold and red hues, for Levi’s. The co-branded collection incorporates the print on wool linings or accents on two trucker jackets for men, two trucker jackets for women, a men’s work shirt, a women’s cape and a blanket. Retail prices for the collection range from $118 to $198.

Items from the collection will be available in all Levi’s stores in the U.S. next month as well as on levi.com. Pendleton will stock pieces in five of its approximately 50 stores, as well on pendleton-usa.com.” Via WWD.

It is getting very cold and therefore beanies and hats are becoming again a must. In recent seasons earflap hats have come back strong and basically they look nice with either wool or with leather uppers. Here we present the new Eco-Wise Wool Ryan Hat by Pendleton. The hat comes in two colorways, both featuring Pendleton wool uppers. The hats are now available from Oki-Ni.

For Opening Ceremony’s third season collaborating with the legendary American textile firm Pendleton, they continue to mix beautifully constructed silhouettes, both new and old, with a wide range of brightly emblazoned patterns and colors. Today we take a closer look at the accessories from the Pendleton Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. The traditional Indian patterns on Pendleton wool fabrics look beautiful and have been rolled out on lots of accessories this season. Next to the classic blankets, they also present premium leather/wool travel weekend bags, small pouches, gloves, small picnic blankets and more. The entire range is now in stock at Soto Berlin.

Here we present a 3-way collaboration between Opening Ceremony, Timberland, and Pendleton on the roll-top boot.

Bringing together the best of each world: rugged Timberland leather, Pendleton mini-jacquard wool, and the Opening Ceremony touch. The top of the boot can roll up or down for different looks. Available in brown leather with red multicolored wool and black leather with teal multicolored wool, this boot is our contribution to your perfect autumn. Each shoe comes with two sets of laces – leather and non-leather.

We already presented this seasons clothing collaboration between Nike ACG and Pendleton. This time they keep it simple and went for black wool uppers from the iconic mill. Next to the vest and the shirt they also present the above Karst Backpack. It is now available from the Nike Store.

First pieces from the new Pendleton Meets Opening Ceremony Fall/Winter 2010 Collection have released. The drop includes caps, scarves and socks, all featuring the classic Pendleton patterns. The product is now available in the Opening Ceremony online store.

We spent this morning at the Hurley Campus in Huntington Beach. One of the tour highlights was a preview of the second chapter of the Hurley by Pendleton collection. The above right jacket was our pick of the litter with a tri-tone heather, beige and “Cholo” plaid outer mixed with a Navajo wool hood lining. Various other pieces mate Hurley silhouettes with classic Pendleton fabrics. You can look forward to a Holiday 2010 release.

Nike ACG once again worked with Pendleton as part of their Fall 2010 Collection. They present the Roundup down vest and a wool shirt. Both of course feature uppers made of authentic Pendleton wool, but for once they took a more subtle route, with both pieces coming in a dark grey colorway without the usual use of colorful Pendleton patterns. The two pieces are now available from Haven.
