Rag & Bone teams up with Penfield to collaborate on a down jacket for Fall 2009. The jacket comes with a wool/leather upper and is pretty short. There will be both a mens and a womens version of the jacket. From what we can see so far, definitely a nice piece and it is great seeing Penfield also working with high end brands. Via Stylefile.

Every year we visit Penfield at several tradeshows around the globe and every time we are impressed by their new collections. We also like how the brand can collaborate with both street brands (Stussy, Alife, etc), but at the same time be relevant in the high end market.

For Spring 2009 Penfield once again offers a solid line-up of jacket, ranging from lightweight windrunners to M-65 inspired styles and much more. Not only do you get a quality product, but you get it at reasonable prices.

Bread & Butter Barcelona was a hectic week and we are finally getting into our rhythm again. A while back we showed you a preview of the Highsnobiety x Flake.tv video series and promised more to come. Today we start with our first interview from the show floor. Jeff Staple was nice enough to walk us through his upcoming collections.

After showing you yesterday some upcoming Penfield Fall/Winter 2009 jackets, we give you today a preview of the bags that the label will be releasing later this year. Similar to the Pendleton fabrics, Penfield went out and dug deep to create their own fabric and pattern. The outcome is an authentic range of messenger bags and backpacks, featuring the new fabric.

Penfield has definitely come back strong. We have seen collaborations in the past with Maharishi, Stussy, Patta, Duckie Brown, Wood Wood and other strong brands. Today we checked in with guys from the UK and there is definitely much more coming this year. The most interesting stuff we can of course not show you yet, but the inline collection has developed equally strong.

Here is a preview of a new Fall/Winter 2009 jacket and matching vest. A nice mix of striped patterns and matching navy corduroy. The details are fantastic and you have to love the good pricing on the brand as well.

Recently we presented to you the Patta x Penfield Kasson Parka. It looks like the two have also worked on a matching backpack. It features just like the jacket, a wool upper and denim patchwork base.

As part of their Fall/Holiday 2008 collection, Chicago boutique St. Alfred joined forces with Penfield. They worked on an ultralight goose down jacket. It comes in grey and black with contrasting linings and a large St. Alfred logo tag on the chest. Via Ian Ginoza.

After Patta and XLarge, Penfield is already off to the next collaboration. This time they worked with Parisian store Colette on the Outback down vest. It comes in black with a white/blue pattern lining. The colette name appears on several tags on the vest.

After their collaboration on a vest, XLarge and Penfield join forces for the second time this season and will soon be releasing the Summit Jacket. Just like the vest, it will be coming with a soft upper in overall three colorways with contrasting linings. The Penfield logo appears on the chest. Via Calif.

Penfield has built a reputation for making high quality outerwear with fashion, function, practicality and durability in mind. Patta teamed up with the Massachusetts based company to bring you the Patta x Penfield Kasson Parka. Patta has kept the simple and clean aesthetics of the Kasson Parka by applying dark navy wool on the upper, windstopper inner lining in contrasting safety orange and lined the hood with a plaid denim fabric.

Other features on this Kasson Parka include snap over storm flap with inside zip and two lower handwarmer pockets, as well as two chest pockets. Hood cords, velcro cuffs and drawcord waist are all adjustable to the individual user’s taste.

120 pieces total are produced and will retail for 199,95 Euro. The Patta x Penfield Kasson Parka will be available October 25th at selected retailers including Alife Rivington Club, Colette, Hanon Shop and also in the Penfield Online Shop.
