Penfield keeps raising the bar. The must have item for this Spring is the “Full Spin” windbreaker. The windbreaker comes in variety of color-blocks and is water resistan which is perfect for rainy days. If you need a water resistant jacket, it does not get more exciting than this.

A couple of days ago we showed you some first pictures of the upcoming 2nd collaboration between Wood Wood and Penfield, after the two brands had worked together for the first time this past A/W ‘07 season.
For A/W ‘08 they worked once again on a puffy jacket, the trademark style by Penfield, but made it this time in all leather. Keep your eyes open later this year for the drop!

The new Penfield Luxury Luggage Collection has arrived at Triads. For the moment they carry the backpack and messenger style bag in two patterns – the real tree camo and the hickory pinstripe, which was also used on the Penfield x Stussy collaboration a few seasons ago.

We give you a preview of the Autumn/Winter 2008 Wood Wood x Penfield collaboration. The two brands worked for the first time together this past season.
Their new collaboration comes in all brown leather, puffy, and will keep you warm for sure. Expect the jacket to be released later this year. Via Selectism.

The Penfield booth was busy as usual at Capsule show this morning. A few pieces which caught our attention revolved around the new DPM Penfield Dazzle Camo collection, which includes outerwear jackets, vests, and some matching sleeping bags which attach nicely for a true in the field look.
Dazzle Camo was used throughout WWI on Allied warships. Meant not deter the ability of the enemy from determining ship’s speeds and heading, Dazzle (or Razzle Dazzle as it is also known) Camo was a true disruptive pattern.
The Penfield DPM Dazzle line was developed in collaboration with Hardy Blechman. Look for it in Fall 08.

We are repeating it over and over again – Penfield is getting really point. When a while ago the collaborations were the most interesting, the general collection has become so strong that itself, that the collaborations are certainly not necessary anymore, only nice to haves.
Their Fall 2008 collection is looking better than ever with a strong line-up of classic heritage pieces and fresh new stlyes, such as the Color Pack, which consists of multicolor down jackets. We present you a variety of their Fall 2008 collection to give you a good idea of what the brand has to offer in terms of both clothing and accessories, which are also very strong.

Penfield has gradually grown in recent years and with the help of strong collaborations become a strong force in the outerwear market. Now the brand created some exclusive colorways of their existing styles for The Glade. Consistently great value for money, it is no different with these releases. As usual with the people behind Th Glade/Firmament, they present a very solid line-up. No hype, pure quality!

Just in case you do not live in NYC and did not have the time to pass by Alife to get your ARC x Penfield jacket, then you can now head over to the online pop-up store that they created. All three colorways are available.

On top of that they also sell in the pop-up store some matching longsleeve t-shirts. The longsleeves come in the same colorways as the jackets, have an ARC logo print on the chest and “Alife Rivington Club” written over the sleeve. Jackets go for 250 USD and the longsleeves for 40 USD.

For the autumn!winter 07/08 season Penfield pushes the boundaries again with the introduction of Schoeller 3X Dry technology. We have presented you already all three colorways of the Alife Rivington Club x Penfield Walkabout Down Jacket, but now we have some more info on it and on the release. The jacket will come with a nylon bag in the same colorway as the jacket, so that you can put it away nicely. It will be released along with the Alife x Timberland 6″ Wheat boot this coming Saturday, September 22nd and will go for 250 USD. That is as usual with Penfield, a good price for a nice and warm winter jacket.
