Pepsi has collaborated with G-Shock and Zero Halliburton to create the “Time Traveler Pack,” a limited-edition run of G-Shock DW-6900 CC watches and Zero Halliburton polycarbonate rollers, gifted exclusively to creative impresarios—who travel the world in pursuit of dreams, and who always need to be on time. The watch is adorned with the new Pepsi logo and encased in an aluminum case, whereas the rollers are emblazoned with three statements of positivity: “Optimism,” “Joy,” and “Good.” This collaborative pack comes on the heels of Pepsi’s recent collaborations with Gourmet and Dee and Ricky, and was also facilitated by Team Epiphany in the spirit of Pepsi’s recently-launched “Refresh Project”. The initial delivery of this pack was seeded to a short list of artists, journalists, and musicians; a retail release for these goods will be announced in the short future.

Dee & Ricky have been commissioned by Pepsi and Epiphany to produce a limited-edition run of Pepsi-logo branded brooches. True to their style, the twin duo have once again flipped pop iconography and re-contextualized it into their unique language of LEGO mastery. The pins were made in a super-limited quantity, with the first batch being gifted to a select range of cultural influencers. A later retail release date will be announced in the near future.

Gourmet got together with Pepsi to collaborate on their high top Uno sneaker. The sneaker comes in a white canvas colorway with a large combined logo of both brands on the tongue of the sneaker. Other highlights include the triple color laces, canvas strap on the heel and the bi-color outer soles.

“When the opportunity to do a collaborative shoe for Pepsi arose, we were very excited about the project. Epiphany approached us with the idea, they had the relationship and we ran with it. The heritage of Pepsi in the US and where we grew up in the East Coast is very nostalgic. Seeing the Pepsi vending machines as kids and growing up in the end of glass bottles and the introduction of the 3 liter. More importantly, Pepsi is classic American and has evolved but stayed constant all these years. We like to think of our brand Gourmet as very similar.

The design process and fabrication for this piece was clean and classic. We utilized our signature model the UNO and applied a 8 oz. cotton canvas with a high density silk screen on the tongue. The light weight fabric was chosen to be worn in the spring or summer. What is better than an ice cold Pepsi on a hot summer day, the shoe complements that. The color chosen are the exact Pantones from a Pepsi can. We blocked the sole in the standard Pepsi navy and played with the white and red on the upper and laces. Overall the shoe is classic with a pop; you can see the connection.”

Converse and Pepsi have been working on a nice collaborative project lately, that will see light of day very soon.
As part of the 100th anniversary celebration of Converse they created sneaker cellphone charms. Overall there will be 12 different models, including the Jack Purcell, Chuck All Star, Larry Bird’s and many other models, that made their comeback within the project. The little charms come with great details on the upper as well as the sole. Via Kenlu.
The Converse x Pepsi sneaker cellphone charms will be coming along with Pepsi cans some time  in May. You can start collecting!

Medicom has some interesting Bearbrick releases aligned for the next couple of weeks. The much anticipated Undefeated Bearbrick will be dropping, which will come matching to a Converse All Star Hi. They also collaborated with Japanese brands Montage and TMT and get together with Pepsi to release the Black Diamond Bearbrick.

UNIV partnered up with top industrial designer Eneri Abillar and Pepsi on the Abelasol bicycle project. Abelasol was developed for the Pepsi Street Motion in conjunction with the 16-city DUB car show tour. The Abelasol is now available for sale at a price of $7000 at the Robust Flavor online store. 
Abelasol is inspired by custom vintage Japanese cars, which in turn, are the roots of the import car scene.  With an aggressive gesture and forward design, Abelasol presents a new concept low-rider fabrication and design. Main features include: a unique pull lever hand-brake design, black chrome elements, a Porsche leather seat, Skyway wheels and other special custom details.

Freshness reports about the Pepsi event that took place at Recon/Nort NYC. The event was the start of a Pepsi artist collaboration series, Premium Goods, that will continue with collaboration bottles with WESC, DJ AM and others.
At the event they did not only reveal the Pepsi x Nort bottle, designed by Stash, they also revealed the new Nort x Jason Markk sneaker cleaning set. After the Jason Markk x Undefeated collaboration, this makes perfectly sense for NYC.
