PF Flyers reissues the Sumfun Hi top shoe for spring 2010. “The saddle of the original Sumfun’s espadrille upper unites with a new high top cuff, featuring an authentic 40s-era PF Flyers ankle logo. Staying true to PF Flyers sport styling, the Sumfun Hi features finely sculpted vintage foxing details and a Posture Foundation sole for added comfort.” The sneaker is constructed from microfiber suede and canvas and is available in black, neutral, and navy/orange.

Released from the PF Flyers archive of 1943, the Rambler Hi and Lo stays true to every original detail. Features high-visibility hash mark foxing, a pronounced diamond toe bumper, vintage style of two-tone stitching, fine weave 9 oz. canvas, striated toecap and inner webbing stripe. Updated with a modern insole for comfort and cushioning. Available in black and natural in both Lo and Hi silhouettes.

The Holiday Glide from PF Flyers features a quilted textile material, making the shoe a unique addition to any winter wardrobe. The Glide was originally released in 1979 and is a plush 70s-era basketball reissue with vintage logo and tread details. It features a padded tongue, heel ribs, terry lining and posture foundation insole. Available in black quilted textile/leather and brown quilted textile/leather.

Initially what appears to be black patent leather, this Center Hi becomes accented with hues that are revealed the more the hi-top is worn. This PF Flyers style will eventually take on a one-of-a-kind quality as each individual will bring out their own unique details from the patent leather. Boston-based PF Flyers will partner with Saks Fifth Avenue on a series of six limited, exclusive and/or early-release styles. The Color Reveal Center His, the Black Vantage, Metal Mesh Glide, Bob Cousy Lo, the Sumfun, and the Sport Shu will debut as part of a Father’s Day exclusive titled, The Sporting Life, beginning on June 18th.

As a part of the launch, there will be a limited number of PF Flyers Kids Center His and a select number of autographed Celtics’ Bob Cousy signature cards and Cousy t-shirts will be given away at the Saks’ Flagship store beginning June 18th and throughout the weekend.

PF Flyers has been frequently in the news recently, mostly for bringing back their all-time classics. Today we show you the re-issue of the PF Flyers Windjammer.

Originally released in 1968, the “Windjammer” is an authentic reissue style from the PF Flyers archive. Released in original colors and materials, each is realized with all nuances of the respective time. This seaboard-inspired style meets the modern era as a clean-lined and timeless canvas deck silhouette.
