As reported about earlier, Pharrell and Tyler The Creator both attended the Billionaire Boys Club Fashion Night Out festivities. MTV passed by the event and talked to the two about Tyler’s recent VMA win. Check it out!

Fashion Night Out 2011 once again brought out the masses to many events all over the city of New York. Billionaire Boys Club also hosted an event, and presents their Bape collaboration t-shirts on FNO. This time BBC also had something waiting for the girls and presented a series of special t-shirts on the last floor of the store.

Next to Pharrell Williams, other familiar faces that showed up included Tyler The Creator, Kid Cudi, Nigel Sylvester, Dee & Ricky, and others.

Today Palladium boots has released their new ‘Tokyo Rising’ campaign, featuring Pharrell Williams. The campaign documents Pharrell as he explores the city’s hidden treasures, interviews locals and uncovers an inspiring resiliency in Tokyo, Japan in the aftermath of the events of 3/11.

When it was announced a while ago, that NIGO had sold A Bathing Ape to I.T. from Hong Kong, a question that right away came up in our mind was ‘What Will Happen To Billionaire Boys Club?’, the brand founded by NIGO and Pharrell Williams.

Well, today we get the answer. Jay-Z has purchased the exclusive licensing rights to produce and distribute Billionaire Boys Club. The label will be managed under the Rocawear umbrella and Jay-Z will keep Pharrell on board as creative director. Let’s see what will happen to the brand under this new reign. We will of course keep you posted. (GQ)

Update: It looks like Jay-Z did not actually buy the brand, but is simply partnering up with them in the future. More info as it becomes available.

Pharrell Williams designed a glass sculpture to be exhibited as part of the GLASSTRESS show during the Venice Biennale, starting this week.

““Inside Out” is located at the Berengo Centre for Contemporary Art and Glass in Murano. The sculpture is of 2 angel skeletons. One is just over 6 feet tall and the smaller one flying behind it is about 18 inches. Both were hand made by Berengo Studio in Murano.”

Pharrell Williams teams with Kiehl’s and Bionic Yarn for a graphic-print tote bag made ​​entirely from recycled plastic bottles. For now we only have information on the France distro – there are 10 in the country and you can find them through the Kiehl’s France Facebook page. The much anticipated “Velo” bike by Pharrell Williams for Domeau & Pérès has been released today. 26 colors, each limited to only 1.

“The idea came in 2009 after a visit to the Brooklyn Machine Works shop by Pharrell, Bruno Domeau & Philippe Pérès : the bicycle’s frame and fork are hand made out at the Brooklyn Machine workshop of 4130 chromemoly seamless airplane grade steel tubing.

After that, the bike is shipped to Domeau & Pérès in Paris where it’s upholstered in fine leather of water buffalo. All the stitching work is handmade : it takes them over 100 man hours.

Bikes are available in a variety of 26 colors, but each color is an edition of one and once purchased that color choice will no longer be available.”
