After a stellar contribution to Incase’s Curated By Arkitip project, Steven Harrington’s artwork serves as the basis of the next issue of Arkitip. Last January, after much preparation, Arkitip spent a few days in the desert with Steven, Justin Krietemeyer, and photographer Brigette Sire. The new body of work entitled The Desert: 128 Miles east of Los Angeles. September 1st, 2009 will mark the official release of Arkitip No. 0052, however; the issue is now available for pre-order at the discounted price of $35.00.

Arkitip’s Elist subscribers who pre-order will receive a 4 x 6 In. matte photo print from The Desert: 128 Miles east of Los Angeles, created specifically for issue 0052 of Arkitip, signed by Steven Harrington & Justin Krietemeyer on the reverse. Not a bad deal at all.

Martin Margiela proposes as part of his Fall/Winter 2008 collection once again some great accessories. 
We are especially excited about the photo print series, which consists of leather goods (mostly wallets) as well as footwear (sneakers and boots), all featuring an all-over animal photo print. Something unseen in high fashion.

New York’s Capsule tradeshow is in full effect and very busy these days. We passed by the Nike booth today and took a first look at the Sportswear Spring 2009 collection. 
Dubbed "Earthquake" collection by us, for lack of a better description, Nike presents a series of pieces in the line. Backpacks, travel bags and windrunners all feature a photographic print all-over.
The collection will definitely find its fans.

We give you a first look at an upcoming Original Fake t-shirt. The brand has released several photo print t-shirts recently and continues on that path. Expect this t-shirt to appear in stores in coming weeks.

Here is the latest preview from OriginalFake. Unlike many other news sources, we do not think that the actual toy, the ‘99 Companion in collaboration with Bounty X Hunter and Mad Hectic, will be released again, but it will appear as a photo print on a t-shirt, just like the Chum Toy from 2002 was released on a t-shirt a few weeks ago.

We present you the latest Spring/Summer 2008 t-shirts that Futura Laboratories has released. The t-shirt combine both photo prints with strong slogans, in terms of style close to something artist Barbara Kruger would present. We recently previewed the Nike AF1 25th Anniversary windrunners that feature an AF1 all-over print. Those were designed by Japanese brand realmad Hectic. Nike continues to work with them on some more windrunners, that will be releasing the 27th of October.
This time they created reversible windrunners. On one side they feature a photoprint over the entire windrunner and the other side comes in a shiny/glossy material, imitating the look of patent leather. The windrunners come in white and black. Via Nike 1 Love.
