Here you see the latest release by Estate LA. For once not a collaboration, the brand drops their Madras Fitted Cap. The cap is made up of different cuts of madras plaid fabric, so each cap is not the same as the next. Making Madras caps, shirt or shorts seems very easy, as it looks like a random mixing of plaids, but quality and patterns actually do matter if you want to get it right. We have seen some Madras caps by New Era this summer and it was very disappointing. This is much better. The Estate LA Madras cap is now available at Fitted Hawaii.

A while ago we presented you the Bodega x Converse Jack Purcell Mid collaboration that will be dropping this winter season. It mixes brown premium leather with red plaid. Matching that release, the Boston store now got together with New Era to create these red plaid New Era caps. The cap features plaid all over and on the front a rather discrete gold Bodega Tree logo. There is no set release date so far, but you can expect both the sneakers and the cap to drop in November!

Leilow does not stop after the Leopard New Era cap and continues to explore the use of Faux Fur on New Era caps. Strictly Fitteds gives the preview.
For this release there are three material choices in NEW ERA 59Fifty caps: 1. Black faux fur with a Silver satin lining and an embroidered LEILOW logo on back in Silver thread 2. Plaid faux fur with a Bronze satin lining and an embroidered LEILOW logo on back in Bronze thread 3. Grey fleece fur with an embroidered LEILOW logo on back in White thread. The plaid faux fur cap actually looks pretty good. All three caps will be dropping at authorized Leilow dealers around the globe, first week of November.

The Nike SB x Goodfoot project will soon be launched and they are starting to release some teasers, giving a better idea what the project will offer. The pack labeled “The Brew Pack” will consist of two sneakers – a Zoom Air Harbor featuring grey and black suede mixed with red plaid and a Zoom Team Edition featuring blue suede mixed with blue plaid. Along with each sneaker comes a beer sleeve in the respective plaid design, featuring both the Goodfoot and the Nike SB logo. Pics via Matt Goerge.

Nexus VII has released some nice new product as part of their Autumn/Winter 2007 collection. In fact this is one of our favorite pieces overall to be released this season – the Kilt Shirt. Basically its a quilted shirt, thus almost a jacket, and there are two styles of the shirt – hounds tooth and herring bone. The shirts feature a large chest pocket as well. Pics via In Bloom.

A few months ago we introduced the Nike Soaker to you, a shoe that shows some pretty impressive performance in the outdoors. This time not branded under the ACG label, Nike brings the Soaker with a bit more fashionable look. We have seen lots of plaid in their Fall 2007 collection and so they continue in that direction also with this model.
“As you can see, it also features ‘Jack Wool’ material on the uppers, and a choice between lumberjack check or corduroy, both reminiscent of the winter flap-hats endorsed by huntsmen and fighters of the cold worldwide. Here we have a little preview of some new New Era caps that are part of the new Swagger collection. We can definitely say that these are the strongest New Era caps that Swagger has designed to date.
There are 2 plaid New Era’s coming. Unlike most others, these come in really thick plaid and feature an embroidery on the front. Otherwise they will release 2 leather New Eras with ear flaps that feature wool inside the cap, keeping you nice and warm this winter. Similar styles we have seen a couple of seasons ago from Supreme. Last but not least they will be releasing another two New Era caps that feature the same camouflage pattern that we have already seen on their Porter collaboration that dropped a few weeks ago to celebrate the opening of their new Harajuko flagship store.

We have already showed you the matching apparel collection for Fall ‘07, here comes now the complete line-up of the Vans  Plaid Pack.
The pack consists of Sk8 Hi’s, Slip-Ons and Era’s and presents each shoe in three colorways of plaid – black, blue and red.

Here we have some pics via Strictly Fitteds showing the new 10.Deep plaid New Era caps. They are part of the 10.Deep Fall 2007 collection and will be released in three colorways – blue, black and red. Also the caps match plaid shirts that will also be in the collection in several interesting variations.

The other day we presented you a new Vans x New Era plaid cap. It was part of the Vans “Anthony Van Engelen” collection, that we now present you in total.
The collection features a lot of plaid in general – New Eras, shirts, hooded jackets. Other pieces are denim, hoodies, leather jackets and more. Overall the collection looks very solid, 100% something that comes from Vans. Also since it comes from Vans you can probably expect fair prices for all these pieces.
