The Comme Des Garcons x Fred Perry collaboration comes to an end this year, but Junya Watanabe carries on to work with Lacoste on their classic polo. As part of the Junya Watanabe MAN Spring/Summer 2008 collection these 4 polo shirts have been released.
The yellow and pink one look very similar to the Lacoste in-line products. More special are the red and blue one, that come with an updated tonal logo.
These are now available at Praise.

Sixpack recently got together with French sneaker brand Le Coq Sportif. The sneakers and polo shirts coming out of this collaboration are made to celebrate the new rock album by Adam Kesher.
The sneakers are a re-release of the Dynatec model, which first released in the 80’s, and come limited to only 60 pairs.

Adidas released the new Jam Master Jay pack. It consists of a Superstar sneakers, a trackjacket, t-shirt and also a polo shirt. Overkill is among the first to have it in stock.

Adidas got together with famous record Label Motown to collaborate on a Superstar and matching clothing.
The Superstar comes in all black with patent leather accents. The Motown logo appears in rubber on the tongue and also on the mid sole. Furthermore they also made a polo shirt, track jacket and t-shirts to complete the pack.

Last season True SF started their heavy collaboration with New Era. This season they continue and introduce the Influencers Series, of which we show you the first cap today. The first 59fifty to drop is the grown man plaid.  True Creative Director Josh Bruner says this one is strictly Ralph Lauren influenced.  ”For the first release in the influencers series, we took a timeless polo fabric & used tonal embroideries to give this cap a classic look that is equally at home everywhere from the equestrian match to the record store”.
The cap will be released at True and True East this weekend!

Just yesterday we started reporting about the 2008 fluo color trend. Fred Perry and Dover Street Market are as usual on the fore front and just released a series of fluo polo shirts in collaboration. Overall they offer 5 colors in this series, each one featuring both the Fred Perry and the Dover Street Market logos embroidered on the chest.

Just last week we reported about Sold Out now also carrying Japanese premium brand Nexus VII. They received after the first batch of t-shirts now some more of their Fall/Winter 2007 collection. One of the most exciting pieces is the Original Fake collaboration rugby shirt. It comes in all black and features the iconic Kaws “cross eyes” on the collar. Otherwise it stays very classic.

The inspiration behind the collection was born when a Fred Perry designer unearthed a vintage Fred Perry t-shirt…for an Action Man!
Using this shirt for style references the classic Fred Perry shirt was ‘supersized’ and lead to the Little Big Action Man titles. Key details include oversized collar and cuffs, thicker tipping, large press stud fastenings and a heavier knitted pique styled in a slim-fit silhouette.
There are three items in the collection all iconic pieces from the Fred Perry collection; the traditional polo shirt, the track jacket and the classic tennis jumper. All styles carry the authentic 1950’s Fred Perry laurel worked in a heritage palette – shades of snow white and tartan green.
This limited edition collection will be available from Thursday 8^th November from oki-ni.com and from Fred Perry Laurel stores world-wide.

ACU and CLOT got together to make some polo shirts. They come in two colorways – white and green. There is an embroidery on the chest and the logos of both ACU and CLOT are embroidered on the back. Other than the slightly longer sleeves than on a regular polo there is nothing really special about these, which makes them probably the most simple and subtle piece to ever come out of the CLOT crew.
