Parisian music label Sound Pellegrino, made up of Orgasmic and Teki Latex, have produced a capsule clothing collection with Japanese brand Phenomenon. Together they present for Holiday 2011 a stadium jacket, polo shirt, t-shirts and bow ties. All pieces come in the signature Sound Pellegrino black/yellow colors and are now available from Phenomenon stores and retailers.

Japanese brand nanamica has teamed up with heritage sportswear brand ellesse on a small capsule collection for Spring/Summer 2011. The collection includes terry cotton shorts, matching blazers, as well as polos and t-shirts for both men and women. The collection comes in two striped colorways, featuring a small ellesse heritage logo patch.

Fred Perry presents a heavily embellished ‘Union Jack’ Polo Shirt in two colors. Produced on the occasion of the Fred Perry Zozotown store’s first anniversary, the shirts are available in navy or black here. Note: the front of the shirt is classic Fred Perry – solid colored with a laurel wreath logo on the chest.

In a Japanese market exclusive, Lacoste unveiled its Champagne Series, a collaboration with iconic Moet & Chandon. In time for Christmas, Lacoste will release a polo shirt, a matching hoodie and a Lacoste packaged Moet & Chandon champagne bottle in black/gold colors.

Charlie Brown, Linus, Snoopy and Woodstock meet Lacoste in celebration of Peanuts’ 60th Anniversary. The iconic Lacoste crocodile logo is reworked, incorporating the whole Peanuts gang into a limited range of polo shirts. Lacoste x Peanuts will be available exclusively at Dover Street Market this October.

Lacoste invited Chinese porcelain artist Li Xiaofeng to create two different polos for their Holiday 2010 Collector’s Series. The first is a printed polo, created from photographs of blue and white porcelain shards with lotus and children designs from the Kangxi Period (1662 – 1772 AD) of the Qing Dynasty. The printed polo is limited to 20,000 pieces for both men and women and comes packaged in a silk pouch stamped with a red seal logo. The second, is an actual porcelain polo inspired by the early Ming Dynasty (1368 -1644 AD). The most expensive and most exclusive Lacoste polo to date, the piece took Xiaofeng three full months to paint, fire, fragment, shape, polish, and finally link together. The porcelain shirts are currently on display in France at the Musée des Arts et Métiers and will then head to Bejing in the Fall at Li Xiaofeng’s first one-man at the Red Gate Gallery.

Japanese retailer Beauty & Youth continues their Lacoste exclusive program with three new polka dot polo shirts. Available mid-June at B&Y retail locations.

Levi’s Japan has released the STB Customized Collection. Classic Levi’s pieces, including t-shirts, polo shirts, western shirts and denim have been customized with studs and skull flock prints. The shirts and t-shirts come in a series of colorways. The entire line is now on sale at e-levi.

In our previous post we presented to you the Nike Trackbike Football 2010 (NTF2010) games that took place recently in Zurich, Switzerland. For the occasion the team worked with Phillippe from +41 to create a logo for the new trackbike football league and of course they also worked on some proper team gear.

The outcome is a collection consisting of the Nike Sportswear GS Polo and the Sweet Classic Low. The polos carry the NTF2010 crest on the chest and the sneakers feature special iD customization on the heels.

As part of their Icon x Icon project, Nike SB worked with 4 Star on a small capsule collection. The collection has a naval theme and consists of a mesh cap, shorts, t-shirts and a polo shirt, all looking really solid. Look out for a release of the collection June 2010.
