The eccentric Karl Lagerfeld has again made news with the opening of a pop up shop called KARL dedicated to, who other than, himself. As you can see from the image, you can pick up a charm featuring a depiction of his face with dark shades and all. Also available is the new line bearing the same name as the store. Dr Romanelli puts us onto his upcoming London pop up store, the Prescription Shoppe.

“The Shoppe will be connected to and aligned with James Brown’s HOSTEM boutique on RedChurch Street . The Shoppe will play host to my DRx line as well as a number of other collaborations that have been in developmen for quite sometime. The first two drops releasing as a teaser this summer at HOSTEM will be the continuation of DRx’s Standard Issue with The Real McCoys and an upcoming Dr Romanelli line with Anachronorm. Lots of other projects in the works.”

With the help of Interisland Terminal and the incredible team at Creative Solutions/HI, Reed Space HNL opened last night in Hawaii with a special friends and family reception. jeffstaple speaks: “I wanted to bring the concept of Reed Space NYC to Hawaii. We took our infamous chair wall in NYC and reinterpreted it for Hawaii using ONLY chairs as fixturing for the pop-up shop. The shop concentrates on our selection books, magazines, independent publication, music and accessories. It will be open till Aug 8th!” Be sure to stop by if you’re on Honolulu in the next month.

Comme des Garçons PLAY pops up in the Causeway Bay, Hong Kong EXI.T shop. “With basically no buildout, the shop maintains the raw industrial feeling that Comme des Garçons brings to many of its locations. And as for product, it is carrying a limited line of 5 tees, which you can get a peek at in the pictures.” Open until August 1, 2010 at 5 Pak Sha Road, Causeway Bay, 5 G.

Disney teams up with CLOT to launch ‘Man Is In the Forest‘, a Shanghai-based pop-up store that will house exclusive Disney collaborations. Some interesting pieces seen at the opening are a Mickey “Shaka” glove, Toy Story 3 t-shirts by the likes of Cassette Playa and a large Tigger x CLOT toy. The shop is also decorated with imagery of Bambi and other famous Disney characters. Definitely something to check out if you’re in China.

Celebrating their 10th anniversary, One True Saxon recently launched a pop-store in Bloomsbury, London. They’re selling OTS alongside Grenson shoes, Red Wing, Brady bags, Urban Ears headphones and classic English colognes from Geo F. Trumper. The store will remain open for 6 months and promises to play host to various events including some World Cup specials. Find the shop at 47 Lambs Conduit St, Wc1N 3NG (next to Folk, Oliver Spencer, etc.)

Cool Cats and Nike open their Paris-based, Livestrong-themed pop up shop tomorrow morning at 11am. Both the official launch of Busy P’s “Greatest Hits” Air Force 1 and Cool Cats Season 2 will be taking place at the shop, along with the release of several smaller items such as stickers and serigraphs. The Yellow Shop will only be open for one weekend, closing its doors on Sunday, July 26th at 6pm.

After In4mation, San Diego’s 5 & A Dime invited Rogue Status to open a pop-up store in their gallery location. The new temporary store is fully stocked with Fall 2008 DTA product, as well as the DGK x DTA collaboration t-shirt.

The pop-up shop has been nicely transformed and has been given the Alphanumeric education theme. Also it carries already the Fall 2008collection by the brand. The store carries the In4mation mens and womens Spring 2008 collections, as well as accessories (sunglasses, bags, caps) and special product such as the skatedecks.
