An interesting new winter boot has released from the current Prada Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. The high rise Geometric Wingtip Boot comes in two colorways and features a calf and nappa leather upper, drawstring cuff in soft nappa leather, geometric wingtip details and a Millerrighe rubber outer sole. You can purchase the boots now from the Prada online store.

One of our favorite pieces from the new Prada Fall/Winter 2011 Collection is the above all-over ‘tartan’ pattern backpack. Next to the main compartment, the backpack also features two pockets on the outside. The backpack is exclusive to Selfridges, which is also mentioned on a special tag on the back.

With the rise of the iPhone and later on the iPad, pretty much every luxury fashion brand jumped on the band wagon and started offering cases and sleeves for these new digital devices. Which one to take or if to take at all a case, which can turn out to be more expensive than the device itself, is not an easy decision.

The above line-up of Prada Wing Tip Shoes for Spring/Summer 2011 have already created a lot of discussion. The wingtip upper was paired with a thick Espadrille mid-sole. The thick sole is something that you either love or hate. They come in three colorways and are coming to stores now. Via honeyee.

Just some weeks ago we presented the Prada customizable sunglasses, allowing you to put two initials on the Prada Private sunglasses. Now the Italian luxury brand takes the concept further and introduces the Made To Order “Lettering” Service. Starting January 15th, backpacks, trolleys and shopping bags in saffiano leather or camouflage print can be customized with the attachment of multicolored initials.  Each letter has been matched with a color and a graphic motif, also in saffiano leather. The service is offered on prada.com and at 12 Prada stores around the globe.

While brands such as Louis Vuitton and Goyard have been offering such customization for a long time already, the Prada approach is less traditional, more colorful, yet also less timeless.

Selectism looks at a new custom sunglasses program from Prada. “For Holiday 2010, Prada is trying their hand on the personalization surge which has been hitting luxury and fashion. Similar to monograming, the Prada sunglass customization allows for two letters, numbers, and symbols to be placed on the temple arms of their shades. They’re made-to-order in your choice of color and characters.”

By now you probably realized that Prada has been making lots of use of camouflage patterns in their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. As part of their camo series they also present a nice daypack. Look out for the backpack at Prada stores now. Via J&J.

Prada presents the “Creeper” shoes from their Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. The style is not new, but we have to admit that the Italian luxury brand has added some beautiful details to the shoe and given it a more skinny silhouette. We present the shoe in overall 4 colorways, including more solid brown and black versions, as well as colorful versions. The Espadrille inspired mid-sole is probably the most interesting feature on them.

Prada applying lots of camouflage this Fall/Winter 2010 season. We have already previewed their camouflage luggage series and here comes now their matching driving shoe. Made of premium Italian leather and rubber sole, we like how the shoe is in principle very classic, but has a modern appeal due to its colors and pattern. Look for it at Prada retailers now.

Italian luxury brand has always been close to the arts, supported it and integrated it into their own collections. For Fall/Winter 2010 they present the new Prada Fantasy Lookbook, mixing real life photography and images of models and clothing with illustration art. The lookbook was produced and directed by OMA (Alexander Reichert & Fausto Fantinuoli), with photography by Phil Meech.
