Bobbito Garcia, aka ‘Kool Bob Love’, discusses his upcoming Pro-Keds’ Royal Flash release, in celebration of the 30 year anniversary of the Royal Flash, aka ‘The Add On’.

The much anticipated release of the Bobbito Garcia Pro-Keds Royal Flash sneaker pack is just around the corner. The mid top sneaker comes in overall 4 colorways, featuring suede uppers with white stripes. Accents are set on the tongue, the side-panels, the heel, as well as the lining of the sneaker, hinting at the collaborative work.

A release event for the sneaker is taking place this coming Wednesday, October 21rst. Look out for it to hit stores soon after.

Selectism offers a more detailed look into the Richard Chai for PRO-Keds collection that made it rounds during NYFW. We see a variety of colorways against both low and high top silhouettes with zippered and laceless looks. The sneakers borrow fabrics from Chai’s own collection. Available January 2010.

Classic footwear label Keds is the latest brand to receive the Opening Ceremony treatment. Staying true to their “penchant for internationalism, each Keds collection will look to a single country for inspiration. First on the roster: The United States. The premier collection of unisex Keds and Pro-Keds incorporates emblems of classic Americana, like bandanna prints, denim, chambray, and bright primary colors with nautical striped laces.” The first collection will be available on September 10th in correlation with Opening Ceremony’s FASHION’S NIGHT OUT festivities. After several small teasers, we get a first closer look at the upcoming Solebox collaboration with Pro-Keds and Rimowa. Together with Pro-Keds they worked on a low top canvas sneaker. It comes in black and red/black details on the upper and on the laces. Matching the sneakers Solebox worked with Rimowa on the perfect packaging – an aluminum trolly with clear upper, revealing the sneaker. Only 25 sneakers will come with trolly, 75 sneakers can be purchased without trolly upon release. A release date has not been set yet, but we will keep you informed.

Recently we presented to you the Parra x Pro-Keds project, consisting of both a low top and high top Royal sneaker in white premium leather. Today we get more detailed looks at the two sneakers, that will be released soon at Patta, as well as Hanon and other premium boutiques around the globe.

Patta presents their next high profile collaborative project, celebrating their 5th anniversary, after they just recently showed us their Keep collaboration sneakers and bag and Kangol collaboration hat. Here comes now their pack with Pro-Keds. Together they present the Pro-Keds Royal Hi and Royal Lo.

They kept it very clean with these and used premium pebbled leather on the upper on natural gumsoles. The Lo’s and Hi’s are sold separately and each sneaker comes with a heavy duty grocery bag. Patta will be launching the project this coming weekend, July 25th, in store in Amsterdam. Other select retailers will also get the product beginning of August.

The basketball trainer that was first introduced in 1981, the Pro-Keds Shotmaker, returns in Fall 2009 in three colorways. Uppers made of full grain leather, reinforce toe guard, the Shotmaker used to be a performance shoe when first coming out. This July the sneaker returns in three premium leather versions, the more classic white and black, as well as a nice blue. Look out for a release soon at Hanon.
