dell projectred Dell Product Red Artist Series Laptops

Dell Computers teams with three artists for their Product Red Studio 15 and 17 laptops. Proceeds from Product Red go to eliminating aids in Africa. The three people chosen to work on the project all have a unique connection to the issue and the continent. Joseph Amedokpo is an artist living and working in West Africa. Siohban Gunning lives in South Africa, and her art is inspired and informed by a wealth of travel throughout the region. Finally, Bruce Mau is a graphic designer and founder of the Center for Massive Change, located in Toronto. All approach the cause with the same vigor, and their own unique artistic outlook.

The Dell Product Red laptops are available now.

Head to the jump for another look at the designs.

Damien Hirst x (Product) RED Auction T-Shirts

damien hirst product red artist t-shirts - highsnobiety
A while back we reported about a special Sotheby’s auction that was put together by Damien Hirst and all proceeds were donated to the RED (Global Fund) foundation. Works by himself, Murakami, Koons and many other high profile artists went on sale in February on the auction.
To coincide with the auction (well, in the end a little bit later), Damien Hirst also created a series of t-shirts, featuring artworks from the auction. The t-shirts come in mens and womens sizes and feature an image of the artwork on the front and the signature by the artist who contributed the work on the back, below the (Product) RED logo. Our personal favorite is the Jeff Koons t-shirt that you see here above, but many other strong ones are in the offering. Of course all proceeds from the t-shirts also go to the Global Fund.
The t-shirts are now available for 30 Pounds each on Other Criteria, Damien Hirst’s website. Check out all t-shirts in the series after the jump.

RTEmagicC converse dondi.jpg Converse (Product) Red x Dondi White
In October, Converse will be releasing a PRODUCT RED sneaker in conjunction with the estate of graff-legend, Mr Dondi White (one of the founding fathers of graffiti as we know it).
The estate of the artist send over some old sketchbooks, out of which the Converse designers chose designs for the sneakers. There will be a more commercial white edition and a very limited black edition of the sneaker. Find out all the details of the project in the mini interview that Sneaker Freaker held with the Converse head designer on this project here.
Check out pictures of both colorways with all the incredible details after the jump.
