Puma Clyde Luxe Pack

Puma Clyde Luxe Sneaker Pack

The Puma Clyde is still today our favorite Puma silhouette and the Clyde Luxe Pack is also right down our alley. For Fall 2011 the brand presents the iconic sneaker in its best form.

Releasing this season in three colorways, only the best leather were used on the upper and the lining. An all around butter soft feel. The side-panel logo embossed and tongue logo tonal only add to the subtle, yet premium take, on the low top sneaker, underlined by the choice of colors of the pack. Look out for a release soon.

Puma x Shinzo Bolt New Future Sneaker Pack

In an interesting collaboration, Puma has teamed up with Paris retailer Shinzo on the Bolt New Future Pack. Consisting of several sneakers, the Jamaican colors of Usain Bolt’s home and an overall smart eco-friendly theme make up the theme behind the pack. Clean tonal uppers sit on white outer soles. The Puma stripe logo is hardly visible and has been kept very subtle. Other great features include eco friendly leather, cork sockliner, recycled foam last, reground rubber outsole and more.

Highsnobiety x PUMA ‘Bread & Butter Berlin’ Bikes

Highsnobiety x PUMA 'Bread & Butter Berlin' Bikes-01
We’ve always enjoyed the way has PUMA integrated bikes into their sneaker projects, so when they asked us if we’d like to team up with them on a pair of bikes to ride during the week of Bread & Butter Berlin, we were more than happy to oblige.

The outcome is two clean rides, the first a matte olive, fold-able 8-speed cruiser with an integrated basket and vintage style seat, while the second is a more agile grey and white fixed gear. Both bikes are outfitted with both PUMA and Highsnobiety branding, alongside a Bread & Butter Berlin hit.

Look for us and our extended friends and family riding these bad boys around town all week.

Undefeated x PUMA Cali Canvas Clydes Sneakers

The much anticipated release of the second drop of the Undefeated x PUMA Collection is almost here: The Cali Canvas Clydes. Launching at select retailers around the world on Friday, June 10, these new Clydes continue to pay homage to sports icon Walt “Clyde” Frazier and his eponymous basketball shoe.

The suede was swapped out for canvas this time, a first on the Clyde. Furthermore Undefeated decided to leave the Puma stripe on this time. A special mini-site has been launched here.

Here below a bit of background on this new style from Undefeated’s Eddie Cruz.

Q: How would you describe the California lifestyle that you reference as the design inspiration for the Cali Canvas Clydes?
A: California style is very casual, but at same time sophisticated and understated. We wanted a simple, classic fabric story that would be versatile as well. We wanted to let the fabric and color story do the talking.

Q: What was it about this West Coast lifestyle that inspired you to apply it to the Clyde?
A: The first drop we did with PUMA had more of an East Coast feel to represent where we come from. With the June drop, we wanted to represent where we are at today and the time of year of the release. The logical choice was something clean and light, with strong colors.

Q: This is the first time that PUMA has done a Clyde in all canvas. How do you feel this new material evolves the design of such a classic shoe?
A: Canvas is a very versatile material that can be as expensive as you want it to be, from an espadrille to a brown shoe. It’s all in the finish — it’s what makes the shoe separate from anything else.

Q: Can you talk a little bit about why you decided to go with the two different color formstrips on the shoes?
A: Like anything we do at Undefeated, we added a sport influence by using team colors (white/red, black/gold, blue/white); then we added the “fashion” khaki/brown colorway.

Q: What do you see people wearing with the Canvas Clydes?
A: Anything they want. It’s a really versatile shoe that works with so many different styles.

Soto Berlin is hosting an official launch event for the sneaker this Saturday.

A further look at the entire pack follows after the jump.

Puma S Vulc Sneakers Puma S Vulc

With the new S sneaker, Puma applies a vulcanized sole treatment to their iconic Suede silhouette. You can see the three colors they’re pushing in the image above. As with any “hybrid” sneakers, some will love these and some will hate. We imagine these would skate fairly well.

More images follow after the click.
