After a first announcement a while back, we can give you a detailed look at the collaboration between Puma, Bodega and size?, celebrating the UK retailers 10th anniversary. They worked on a double pack of the Puma Blaze of Glory and result is pretty good. Premium leather, mesh and perforated suede make up the upper, which details set on the heel and tongue in the form of special collaboration tags. The speckled mid-sole is a nice finish. Look out for these to release soon.

Next up in the 10th anniversary collaboration line-up of UK retailer size? is a pack of the Puma Blaze Of Glory together with Boston retailer Bodega. The sneaker comes in two very solid colorways with speckled mid-sole, leather/mesh upper and some nice branding. All in all a very interesting looking pack, which will release on September 18th.

Puma reveals their latest Asian collaboration with Korean fashion brand General Idea, owned by designer Bumsuk Choi.

“Chosen as the first designer to become a part of the PUMA Archive collaboration project in Asia, which invites Asian designers to tell their storied style of PUMA, Bumsuk Choi was asked to design PUMA’s iconic Disc Blaze by drawing inspiration from the fun filled life of young trendsetters in the vibrant, trendy and modern Seoul.

With ‘Rhythmic fashion’ as a constant reference, PUMA & General Idea uses repetitive typographic patterns that relates to Deulgukhwa’s 1st album, Bumsuk’s favorite track, club parties, and so on in a musical way. The bold typographic patterns on the transparent TPU of the Disc Blaze rhythmically picture the strong beats heard in a heated club party while the ‘Disc wheel’ and equalizer graphics on the insole that portrays the DJ mixer.

Introduced together with the Disc Blaze is a special hooded sweat designed with the same rhythmic typographic patterns. Both the Disc Blaze and hooded sweat are introduced in 2 color ways: Black with a neon green accent and white with a red color accent.”

The collection will be released across Asia from September 10th.

After presenting the Chukka from the Puma by Hussein Chalayan Fall/Winter 2010 Collection the other day, we show you today the high top sneaker from the line. It comes in a very nice light beige suede colorway with mud accents on the side-panel and heel. The sneaker is now available from colette (storeguiede).

Puma will be releasing a limited edition version of one of their most classic silhouettes. The Suede comes in a special high top version with velcro strap closing. It will be released in 4 suede colorways and two leather colorways and these will drop in October 2010.

After a teaser a couple of weeks ago, the size x Sneaker Freaker x Puma R698 Reaction Pack has been released this week. The pack consists of two colorways, one beige suede version and a light brown leather version with brogue detailing. The pack is also part of the size? 10th Anniversary Project.

The new Puma by Hussein Chalayan Collection for Fall/Winter 2010 is getting into stores. Here we give you a detailed look at the new Motus Chukka for the season. The mid top sneaker comes in butter soft suede with leather lining and only very subtle branding. The new brown and navy colorways have gotten in at Soto Berlin (storeguide).

Two new colorways of the Puma Blaze of Glory 91 have landed at Schuh-You. Taking inspiration straight from the time in which the Blaze of Glory was born, the sneakers feature bold tech, (some) loud colors and paint splatter details.

The good people from Shoes Master have released their latest volume of Sneaker Tokyo. The third installment documents Puma “as you’ve never seen them before,” with an in-depth look at the past, present and future of the label. A heavy emphasis is placed on the Clyde/Suede. We’re not mad at that. Amazon.co.jp is now taking pre-orders for a mid-August release.

The other day we exclusively previewed the silver reptile version of the Puma Sky Hi+ Pack for Fall 2010. Here is now a look at all 5 colorways of the high top sneaker that come as part of the pack. The Sky Hi gets an upgrade, including a longer tongue, single thick ankle strap and thicker mid-sole, making an overall bold statement. The uppers are made of different materials on each colorway, including suede, leather, ripstop nylon and of course reptile leather. Look out for a release soon at Schuh-You.
