Windrunners are back. That we can say for certain, since a couple of months. Nike is releasing lots of them and you see them again on the street.
Alife Rivington Club has collaborated with Penfield on several jackets already, until now always on warmer down pieces for the winter. For the first time the two got together to work on a light weight summer jacket – the Tech Windrunner. It comes in a black and purple colorway with mesh lining. Also it features adjustable hem and hood, as well as a 2 zipped stash pocket. The jacket is definitely shower proof and comes with a large glossy Alife Rivington Club logo print on the front with a smaller Penfield logo on the chest.
Hanon will have them in stock in the first couple of weeks of May, so make sure to look out for these.

Once again Sig Zane and Kicks/Hi got together and present this time a black/purple colorway of their “Olako ‘Aka” New Era cap. It features both the Sig Zane and the Kicks/Hi logo embroidered in white on the sides and the cap is now available.

After Patta and Alife, another top tier sneaker store has worked on the Asics Gel Lyte III’s – Solebox. The Berlin store used once again their popular purple on the shoe and presents a really strong color combination overall.
Last week Hikmet from Solebox showed us the final samples and we liked it a lot. The grey suede upper goes really well with the purple and the premium leather lining also looks great.
They will present two versions of the shoe – one coming with the Solebox branding only for their own store (about 200 pairs), and another one without the Solebox branding (about 300 pairs) that will be available at other top accounts worldwide. The shoes change color according to UV light. The logo stripes and part of the mid sole turn purple. Nice touch and unseen on Asics before. Pic via Crooked Tongues.

We present you the latest colorway of the popular Asics Gel Lyte III. It come this time in a fresh purple/white/black/yellow colorway and is now available at Solebox.
Along with this one, Solebox also got in an Asics GT II and one colorway of the Puma Disc 90’s. Check those two out after the jump.

It’s nice seeing Adidas also releasing some subtle styles in premium materials as part of their Consortium collection. The latest one to hit shelves soon is the purple Green Star. Purple upper, white stripes, that’s it and that’s enough! Undefeated Japan will be releasing the sneaker on February 9th.

Here you see the latest set of windrunners that Nike released under the “Storm” theme. They come in black and purple and feature a tree pattern running over the lower part and a rain pattern over the higher part of the windrunner. For the rainy days ahead, these are just perfect. Vans got together with premium sneaker store Proper to collaborate on a series of Sk8 Hi’s. The pack consists of three Sk8 Hi’s – purple, silver and navy blue. The sneakers feature a satin upper and contrasting outer sole and inner lining. The pack will still be released this month at Proper! Via Complex.

When New Balance was always known for the “less is more” approach, they have this year released many sneakers and packs that went against those principle. For Spring 2008 they seem to return to their more classic approach and present the Canvas Pack. Here we present you the purple 576 that is part of the pack. A nice mix of canvas and suede accents make this a solid sneaker. Other colors will follow. Pic via Sneaker Freaker.

We showed you a teaser of this collaboration a while ago and now we can show you the final product. BKRW got together with NSBQ to release a remix of the popular NSBQ Shemagh glasses that dropped last year. Of course their signature color purple is the main ingredient in this collaboration. Both the BKRW and the NSBQ logos can be found on the sunglasses. Nicely packaed in a wooden box the sunglasses will be released very soon, but it is not sure yet if they will actually go on sale or will only be given out to friends and family. It’s an edition of 50 of which 20 will stay in Hong Kong and 30 will go to Paris.

A little while ago we previewed all the 10 Deep New Era caps to drop, among them also the Chaingang all-over embroidery New Era caps. The one color we did not show you at the time was the purple version. The purple one is the DVSN edition, a cap that only goes out to 8 stores worldwide. Commonwealth is one of them and just launched it!
