The forthcoming Halloween-themed issue of Juxtapoz will be guest curated by legendary, gore-obsessed artist Pushead. “Pushead hung out at the Juxtapoz offices this past month helping bring his vision to fruition, which includes featuring the likes of Eric So, Rockin’ Jelly Bean, Wes Benscoter, Takato Yamamoto, Kristin Callahan, and many more. On top of all that, Pushead added a few new twists to our layout we’ve never tired before. Definitely not an issue to miss. Look out for it hitting newsstands and mailboxes in a few weeks.”

We got an early look at some collaborative product from the Green Label Art Series 3. Claw Money, Pushead and the other artists got to design some product collaborations along with the bottle designs that they did. We present you the Claw Money New Era Cap, a Nathan Cabrera x adidas Superstar and UPSO x G-Shock DW-6900, as well as some Pushead x WeSC headphones.

The next volume of the Mountain Dew Green Label Art Project has been revealed. Once again they worked with a strong line-up of artists, giving their Mountain Dew bottles an updated look.

“Beginning September 7 and continuing on for eight weeks at select US retailers, thirsty trendsetters can get their hands on the latest series of decorated bottles, which was first introduced two years ago. This third volume of Green Label Art features new artists spanning the worlds of action sports, music, vinyl toys, video games, fashion, fine art, illustration and graffiti. The roaster includes: Pushead, Nathan Cabrera, Jeff McMillan, Stephen Bliss, UPSO and Claw Money – the first female artist to participate in the project.” Via Dub Daily.

If you were excited about the ‘Gangway Ye Crowsnest’ colorup of Pushead’s Skull Captain, here’s another SDCC 2009 Exclusive to cause open mouth lockjaw. Rumored to be made of leftover Secret Base orange glow vinyl, this Skull Captain glows bright, with a full left arm and a hook right hand. Super limited, like prototype production numbers. Be on the look out for these commanding ship at the Pushead event at SDCC this Thursday.

Pushead has created a special Skull Captain vinyl figure for San Diego Comic Con 2009. The exclusive ‘Gangway Ye Crowsnest’ colorway is individually handpainted at the factory in Japan, matching up with Pushead’s original version. Only available during Toy Tokyo’s Pushead event at SDCC.
Priced at $94 USD. “Please heed caution at the glass case unveiling, tales of drool puddles and open mouth lockjaw, are becoming legendary after these events.”

Today we can give you a look at the line-up of the Spring/Summer 2009 Neighborhood x Pushead Collection. The artist and the Japanese label worked on several pieces together this season. The capsule line consists of a coach jacket, three t-shirts and a sticker set. Expect it to release in the near future at Neighborhood retailers.

Just recently we gave you a detailed look at the Neighborhood x Original Fake capsule collection. The other exciting collaboration to come from Neighborhood this season is with artist Pushead. Here you get a first look at an upcoming t-shirt and a cotton jacket, that will be part of the collaboration collection. Let’s see if there is more to come. We will keep you posted!

For Spring/Summer 2009 Neighborhood gets together with artist Pushead on a couple of products. So far we can only show you this t-shirt from the capsule collection. More to come soon on this very interesting collaboration.

For the first time ever, artist Pushead will be attending New York Comic Con. The artist will bring along the very first Skullpirate figure. Not will be bring this rare toy, but they will also be giving away some of his toys randomly at a set price. Certainly sounds like it is worth attending this year. Via Toybot Studios.

Also you should not miss Mike Sutfin, who will bring some handpainted Rumble Monsters and Secretbase from Japan will bring the Usugrow Rebel Ink Premium Black version. It’s all taking place at the Toy Tokyo Booth.

New York Comic Con takes place February 7th at the Jacob Javits Center.
