For special occasions Google tends to present special versions of its logo on their homepage. Today Queen frontman Freddie Mercury would have turned 65 and for this occasion Google went a little further and presents a special Google Doodle video in honor of the late artist. Check it out!

Vans presents a collaboration with the band Queen. They worked on the low top Authentic sneaker in a black denim version. The Queen logo appears on the tongue, while the complete lining is plastered with old Queen posters and the band gets a further mentioning on the laces. The sneaker is now available from Primitive.

Essence renewed their retail space a few months ago and as part of the celebration for that occasion they collaborated with Gabriel Urist, the NYC jeweler. The outcome is a series of pendant inspired by the King/Queen of a card deck. It comes in silver, gold and bronze and is now available in at Essence.
