For Spring/Summer 2012 Kitsuné and Quoddy once again get together and they present the classic Mocassin in two bi-tonal colorways. Handmade in Maine, the shoes are great for the summer and both the moss/white and grey/peach colorways are not something you come across everywhere. The shoes are now in stock at End.

Ronnie Fieg is back with yet another new collaboration boot. This time he gets together with Quoddy on the Classic Moccasin 10″ Calf Height Boots and presents them in two colorways.

“Featuring ten lacquered eyelets strung together with 72” rawhide laces, the boot provides various lacing options to be styled for any wardrobe and any season. The two-toned colorways feature a fused canvas and leather silhouette with other details including a deerskin bellow tongue to keep out debris and maintain warmth without bulk, a Vibram sole designed expressly for Quoddy and a full handcrafted design. As on all Quoddy shoes, the soles are stitched to the shoe bottom rather than glued so that they maintain flexibility and last longer.”

Limited to 24 pairs in each colorway, the two-tone design on these is interesting and we like the color hits that Ronnie chose for these. The second leather color around the two box we are not convinced about, but overall he managed to present a refreshing version of this otherwise classic outdoor boot. Priced at 450 USD a pair, they will release at both Kith locations and online on January 6th, 2012.

Japanese retailer Javari worked over a set of classic Quoddy Trail Moccasin styles in vivid colors for summer. Each shoe features Horween leathers, deerskin lining and hand-sewn construction. You’ll find both low and mid cut options in blues, reds, greens and greys, the brighter options being the most exciting for us.

Neighborhood and Quoddy teamed up for Spring/Summer 2011 on two models. The Trai Moccasin comes in black leather and beige suede and the Boat Shoe comes in black leather, as part of the collaboration. Both styles feature thick contrasting stitching on the upper and embossed Neighborhood logo placements. Look out for a release soon.

As many of you already know, Quoddy Moccasins are individually handcrafted by hand in Maine, making each pair beautifully unique. Using the finest materials and traditional techniques, the product feels even better on your foot than it looks. When it comes to the colder seasons of the year, Quoddy is always a great option in terms of footwear. From their new collection the Deck Chukka, as well as the Woodsman and Grizzly Boots have released. The Deck Chukka and Woodsman boots both come in a light brown colorway and feature contrasting white stitching, as well as an all white Vibram outer sole. The Grizzly boot comes in a dark brown leather colorway with black outer sole. All three boots are now available from Tres Bien.

French brand Kitsune did not only get together with Pierre Hardy this season, but also worked with Quoddy on the Maliseet Oxford shoe in a burgundy colorway.

Japanese brand UCS has collaborated with Quoddy on a beautiful pair of Trail Moccasin Deck Boots, as part of their Fall/Winter 2010 Collection. The high rise boots come in navy and light grey suede colorways, both featuring a white Vibram outer sole. The boots are soon available at Cueve.

In a much promising collaboration Quoddy has gotten together with one of our favorite brands from the North – Wings+Horns. As part of the collaboration they present a mid deck shoe and a low deck shoe, each coming in two colorways. So far it is not clear when these will release, but you can expect a drop pretty soon.

Retailer South Willard debuts an eponymous clothing line for Fall/Winter 2009. Heavily inspired by growing up California, the line focuses on functionality and quality, and the production notes attest to this. Jackets are made by Crescent Down Works in Seattle, denim in Okayama Japan, and shoes by Quoddy Trail in Maine. All with meticulous attention to detail.
