With a big year 2012 ahead of him, Raekwon kicks it off with the release of his New Year’s mixtape – Unexpected Victory. We just presented the other day the official collaboration t-shirt for the mixtape with Mighty Healthy. The 17 track mixtape features guest appearances from Mobb Deep, Busta Rhymes, and Vado, along with production by 9th Wonder, Statik Selektah, and The Olympicks.

One of Wu Tang’s most popular members, Raekwon the Chef is back with an all new upcoming mixtape called “Unexpected Victory” dropping on New Year’s Day exclusively at Dat Piff. Mighty Healthy, who is no stranger to Wu-inspired tees, gets in on the action with this special limited edition collaborative tee shirt, which also drops on the first day of 2012. Each tee shirt order will be accompanied by a hard copy of the new mixtape, making for extra incentive to cop the tee. If you’re not too partied out New Year’s day, be sure to remember to get both the mixtape and tee.

The Black Keys paired up with hip-hop artists such as Jim Jones, Mos Def, Raekwon, Ol’ Dirty Bastard and a cadre of other stars for a fresh new sound.

Raekwon drops the official music video for his latest single from the forthcoming album Only Built 4 Cuban Linx II due in stores September 8th, 2009. The single features Inspectah Deck, Ghostface Killah, GZA and Method Man over J. Dilla production and incredible animation. The Wu is back.

The music video for “24K Rap” off of J. Dilla’s latest release, Jay Stay Paid has been released. This is the first time NYC legends Havoc and Raekwon have ever been in a video together, so why not film it at Alife Rivington Club?! Store manager Jesse Villaneuva makes an appearance as the hostage, while several products we’ve featured on the site – such as Mr. Cartoon’s LIVESTRONG Air Force 1s – make cameos. Check it out!
