We get a first look at some footwear from the Dr. Martens x Raf Simons Spring/Summer 2010 Collection. The line is looking very interesting and explores new models next year. In our mind this is the strongest line-up to date from this collaboration, as they keep it classic in terms of colors and smart in terms of look.

Raf Simons continues his longstanding relationship with 100 year old British label Fred Perry for Autumn/Winter 2009. With designs heavily based around Fred Perry’s classic thirty leaf laurel logo, amongst other items, Raf Simons presents a reworked version of the iconic polo with a Carl Andre-inspired rusted metal treatment and enlarged embroidery. Raf Simons has also designed a special centenary outfit for Fred Perry, complete with a pair of reimagined brogues, based on a suit that Fred Perry himself wore in 1947. Be in the lookout for this collection to release this coming Autumn.

In celebration of the 100th anniversary of Fred Perry, Raf Simons has designed a classic Fred Perry outfit, worn by Fred in 1947. The collaborative collection consists of a black, single-breasted jacket, grey wide leg pleated trousers, slim fit white shirt, laurel print tie, ivory cable knit jumper and a black/white brogue version of the classic table tennis shoe. The collection will be coming to stores in September 2009.

Oki-Ni will be launching a new Archive Section on their site later this week. With the archive section they want to bring their customers something new, yet different next to the current collections of designers. They will start by offering Raf Simons archive pieces from his mid 90’s collection. It’s an interesting idea, adding a new dimension and it also has sort of an educational aspect to it, giving people an idea of where the designer came from.

The Raf Simons Archive Collection launches with a multitude of interesting pieces this coming Thursday on Oki-Ni.

The much anticipated Raf Simons x Fred Perry Tassel Moc Shoe has finally been released. Part of the Raf Simons x Fred Perry Spring/Summer 2009 Collection, the shoe comes in black and red and the black colorway is now available at Opening Ceremony.

The high top velcro sneaker by Raf Simons comes in three new colorways. Two of them come in white canvas, one featuring a large “R” embroidery, the other one coming with an all-over embroidery. The black canvas sneaker was inspired by artist Christopher Wool, and feature a multicolor all-over alphabet embroidery.

From the new Spring/Summer 2009 Raf Simons for Fred Perry collection comes this new Harrington Jacket. The royal blue with the orange accents works really well and is a refreshing look for the season. The 100% cotton jacket features the original 60s 30 leaf Fred Perry logo, which is exclusive to this collaboration.
