Last night we attended the official launch event of the rag & bone Crafted by Timberland Boot Company boot collection, which took place at the Rag & Bone store in New York City. The several boot styles were nicely presented in the store with a special setup, highlighting the craftsmanship involved in the footwear line.

Rag & Bone offers some clean high top suede sneakers as part of their latest collection. In addition to the prominent lacing, accents include brown leather paneling with cross stitch detailing in the rear and tonal top stitching. You can find these at SSENSE.

Rag & Bone presents a nice looking new RB Crepe Moc Boot for Fall 2010. The upper comes in a mix of premium leather and suede and the shoe is finished with a Crepe outer sole. We like that it does not look to rugged. It is now available from ForwardForward.

Announced earlier this year, the new collaborative collection of boots between rag & bone and Timberland for Fall 2010 is coming to stores in the following weeks. The menswear brand has worked on some beautiful boots for the new season, introducing interesting materials with premium effects into the line. Most of the boots come with a bi-tonal look, also featuring at least two different materials on the upper, while all of them come with Vibram outer soles. A special collaborative tag has been placed on the inside of the tongue of each boot.

These days every second brand seems to be coming out with a Fedora and/or straw hat. The hat has become the new fitted cap this year, yet the quality of these hats spans wide. rag & bone makes some of our favorite hats on the market and not only since this season. Their hats are all hand made in the US and we especially like the short brim on their hats, making them easier to wear. For Summer 2010 they present the Liberty Fedora in two colorways. Following the initial announcement, we can now give you a look into all six styles from the Timberland Boot Co. x rag & bone collection. Overall the collection consists of three different silos – a 7 Inch Lace-Up Boot, an 8 Inch Side Zip Plain Toe Boot, and a Leather Fabric Boat Chukka – each offered in either brown or black. The “beefy” Boat Chukkas above stand out as our choice pick. Look for these to hit retail for Fall ‘10.

The Timberland Company announced today that it has partnered with lifestyle brand rag & bone to design and distribute a limited collection of men’s fall 2010 Timberland Boot Company® boots, set to debut at Project Las Vegas, February 16 -18, 2010. The collection combines English tailoring with American-informed work wear and is being marketed and sold as “rag & bone crafted by Timberland Boot Company.”

Timberland Boot Company and rag & bone share a design philosophy rooted in quality, craftsmanship and attention to detail. Constructions and material choices are historically anchored in the first half of the 20th century and reflect the aesthetic and fundamentals of classic work wear. The boots are simple, yet tailor-made in appearance. Exquisitely burnished leathers and distinct fine lines suggest a life of purpose, transformed through time from life experiences and natural exposure to the elements.

The fall 2010 “rag & bone crafted by Timberland Boot Company” collection of men’s footwear features three brand-new Timberland Boot Company® Tackhead series silhouettes, with two colorways for each – six boots in total. They include: Tackhead 8” Zip Chelsea Boot; Tackhead 7” Lace Up Boot; and Tackhead Boat Chukka. Styles are classically constructed with genuine Horween® leathers, Vibram® lug outsoles, mud finish hardware, distinguished black and white stitching and leather midsoles. Each features the signature “rag & bone crafted by Timberland Boot Company” logo on the pull loop and tongue patch.

Styles will be available globally at rag & bone retail stores, as well as select Timberland Boot Company and rag & bone retail partners in fall 2010. Hopefully we can soon show you the entire collection.

In addition to their stellar collaborations with Reed Space, Edifice and Limoland, the Massachusetts-established label also worked with rag & bone on a 3-piece capsule of down outerwear. The highlight is definitely the hooded wool/leather sleeved joint, but the western yoked jacket and vest are nothing to shake a stick at either. We love Penfield’s ability to keep us warm with such stylish attention to detail, and that’s what it’s all about these days isn’t it? Rag & Bone teams up with Penfield to collaborate on a down jacket for Fall 2009. The jacket comes with a wool/leather upper and is pretty short. There will be both a mens and a womens version of the jacket. From what we can see so far, definitely a nice piece and it is great seeing Penfield also working with high end brands. Via Stylefile.

Rag & Bone presents a nice premium leather trainer in their Spring/Summer 2009 Collection. Made from soft washed leather, the sneaker features patent leather accents and a rubber sole. The finishing touch comes in the form of waxed laces. A subtle, comfortable and quality slim sneaker. It is now available online from Blackbird.
