Ralph Lauren present this navy Forty Sixty aviator parka that combines the utilitarian style of a parka with the currently popular American heritage Navajo print lining. As it’s made from a waterproof 40% nylon and 60% cotton outer and features a drawstring hood with a snap-close peak detail at the top, it’ll help staying warm and dry in these colder months ahead. Nice detailing comes in the form of multiple button down flap pockets on the front interior, drawstring waist, poppers on the storm flap and cuffs, and leather accents throughout. One of the most classic boots to ever have been released by Polo Ralph Lauren, got a remix for Holiday 2010 by New York designer Ronnie Fieg. The boots come in a dark burnt red premium leather with tonal branding. An unusual, yet solid looking color for a winter boot, it will be released this coming Friday, November 26th, at David Z. on Broadway and Davidz.com.

Last night the much anticipated Ralph Lauren 4D events took place in London and New York, celebrating 10 years of being on the web.

“RALPH LAUREN 4D is a ground-breaking approach to architectural video mapping. This exhilarating light installation emerged with fifteen riveting scenes unfolding into one seven minute presentation taking the audience on a visual journey through the world of Ralph Lauren. Viewers were invited to experience a montage of flashing scenes of larger-than-life sized images including models and Polo players four stories tall and iconic Ralph Lauren fashion accessories such as the Ricky Bag, ties and belts that wrap the length of the building. The projection gave the illusion that images were extending beyond the building and floating out into space toward the audience. The façade became a mosaic of realistic illustrations complemented with transient sounds of music, illusions of blowing breezes, and even light mists of the new Big Pony Collection Fragrances were infused into the night’s air – creating a visceral moment of excitement and intrigue.”

Ralph Lauren’s Polo Jeans Co. is showcasing 51 up and coming European artists through Art Stars. “Inspired by the iconic American Star Spangled Banner and synonymous with the Polo Jeans Co. brand, the artists will create 3D pieces on stars made from the finest American denim. These will be displayed in select Polo Jeans Co. stores in key cities across Europe before coming together in a public exhibition in London in late 2010.” The stars will then be auctioned in aid of Teenage Cancer Trust. 10 Magazine is celebrating their 10th anniversary. For the occasion they present “10 Fashion Gods” on 10 different coverse. Not only do they present ten covers, but each so called “fashion god” could also choose his/her own preferred photographer.

“The next issue, out in May, boasts 10 different covers – 10 designers, each photographed by their choice of photographer. Helmut Lang sent a passport photo; Dolce & Gabbana commissioned Terry Richardson; Karl Lagerfeld produced a self-portrait.”

The covers feature Karl Lagerfeld, Ralph Lauren, Helmut Lang, Dolce & Gabbana, Tom Ford, John Galliano, Albert Elbaz, Vivienne Westwood, Donatella Versace and Azzedina Alaia.

Ronnie Fieg got together with Polo Ralph Lauren Footwear to create the Grey Ranger “Cookie” boot which will be releasing this coming “Black” Friday, November 27th exclusively on DavidZ.com as well as the David Z. flagship store in soho. For this limited release Fieg gathered a group of individuals who have influenced him for a photo shoot in Central Park.
