By now the first 5 silhouettes from the Ransom x adidas collection have arrived at retailers around the world. Here’s a final look into the drop of The Pier, Valley, Summit, Dune and Creek, by way of the official release at Toronto’s Ransom Holding Co. flagship store that took place on October 31st, 2009. “Go forth onto the never ending path”.

After numerous previews of the first season of the Ransom by adidas footwear collection, we show you today a nice video put together, once again showcasing the boots and sneakers in the right environment. Check it out!

Here’s another look into Ransom’s debut collection for adidas Originals. The range consists of four styles: the Creek, the Summit, the Pier, and the Dune. Each comes in several color and material variations with fabrics such as tumbled leather, premium suede, heavy duty canvas, nubuck, raw leather and gloss leather making the rounds. We can honestly say we’re fans of every style in this collection. Canadians just do it right. In stores such as HIP Leeds early November.

Today we can give you another detailed look at the first Ransom by adidas Collection. The Canadian brand created an outdoor inspired footwear collection that definitely adds styles to the adidas range that we would otherwise not have seen. High top sneakers, boots and hybrids make up the line in solid colors and premium materials. Our personal favorite is The Creek boot.

Today we can give you a beautiful comprehensive look at the Ransom Fall 2009 Collection. Not only can we show you the clothing, but also the footwear that Ransom produced this season for the first time in collaboration with adidas Originals. The clothing line continues to develop nicely and sticks to its outdoor and northern roots. Flannel shirts, puffy shirts, flannel pants, denim, plaid pieces, knitwear and more make up the line this season. The look is overall very round.

The collection is nicely completed with the new Ransom for adidas Originals Footwear Collection, which releases this month in its first season. Boots and casual shoes make up the line, inspired by classics and sneakers, yet more mature and with their very own identity. The Ransom Fall/Winter 2009 shipment has landed. Our favorite Canadian label continues to dive deeper into the workwear aesthetic they’ve embraced over the past several seasons. An outstanding selection of goods such as herringbone chinos, quilted overshirts, sock beanies, melton wool bombers, duck twill vests, washed selvedge denim, and wool 5 panel caps highlight the release. Graphic tees and New Era caps are also in the mix, but the more classic Canadian looks have us most excited. A selection of our favorites is seen above. Now available in-store at Ransom Holding Co.

We bring you another preview from the upcoming Ransom by adidas Collection that is hitting stores for the first time this Fall 2009. The outdoor inspired collection brings a new consumer to the adidas brand and so far everything we have seen looks very solid. Today you get a first look at the “Summit” boot, which comes in several colorways and with very nice details.

With much talk of Toronto-based label Ransom’s upcoming adidas collection (which by the way has some women’s styles in the works) this gem of a shirt slipped in under the radar. The classic James Dean style short sleeved button up comes in both blue and black chambray and is now available at Ransom Holding Co. for $70 CAD (approx. $60 USD.)

Here’s an exclusive first look at one of the adidas shoes’ being worked as part of the Spring 2010 Ransom by adidas Collection. The Valley Lo is outfitted in ripstop nylon outer and finished in a great shade of red (black will also be available). The collection will also include a variety of clothing and apparel that complements the Valley Lo as well as other models. We’ll be sure to highlight the full collection from Ransom and adidas when we get our hands on it.

After seeing some exciting sample images, we now have a brief look at the full Ransom x adidas Originals Collection. Based on iconic cultural references that blend the Ransom brand’s Northern heritage with the market leading know-how of adidas Originals, the extensive collection of all-new models was inspired by heritage brands such as Sorel, Red Wing, and the vintage workwear idea. With a mixture of bold monotone and muted monotones in the collection, the color palette represents Ransom’s fall direction. We also see plenty of attention to detail throughout, with stitching and embossed logos. Models include the Creek, Pier (pictured above,) Dune, Valley, and Summit – making for a great mixture of casual and more rugged styles that work well in the current sneaker world. This is definitely one of the most interesting projects of the year and we can’t wait to have a more detailed look.
