Two of the more exciting styles from the new Ransom by adidas Fall/Winter 2011 Collection are previewed today. The Crest boot comes in a wheat/oxblood colorway, featuring neoprene ankle support and rubberized bottom and waxed cotton upper.

Furthermore they present the Strata low top sneaker with a boiled wool upper and collapsible heel. Releasing as part of the ‘Persona’ Collection, “a distinct personality driven product, where we align and showcase individuals we believe to be a representative of both our vision in Ransom by adidas as well as strong, and influential figures at the top of his or her dynamic field, providing a unique story in their their own terms”, these will drop in the coming weeks.

For the Fall 2011 season, Ransom by adidas decided to take a journey to a place they know well; coastal British Columbia and the expansive Pemberton Icecaps. During their formative years, the folks behind Ransom by adidas all spent ample time in this area, and have decided to share a piece of the inherent natural beauty.

No stranger to the terrain at hand, Ransom by adidas asked world renowned, Vancouver based surf, skate and snowboard photographer Scott Serfas to accompany them and document the trip. Utilizing a helicopter to capture the best of the terrain as well as to gain access to some never before seen spaces, Scott captured the essence of both the land and this new season all in one.

Among a number of expansive new offerings, Ransom by adidas introduces The Chase, a boot silhouette that utilizes a waterproof leather upper to handle the chaotic fall and winter conditions of Canada and abroad, while at the same time remaining sleek enough for everyday wear.

To present their new Fall/Winter 2011 Collection, Ransom by adidas took a trip to British Columbia and the expansive Pemberton Icecaps. Utilizing a helicopter, the short video captures the best of the terrain as well as to gain access to some never before seen spaces, capturing the essence of both the land and the Fall/Winter 2011 season all in one. This introduction short gives a glimpse of the The Tantalus, The Crest and Chase silhouettes.

Canadian brand Ransom gets together with wooden sunglass brand Shwood. For Summer 2011 they worked on the Canby silhouette of Shwood. Ransom locally sourced Canadian Oak to be used for the frame, which comes numbered and limited to only 50 pieces. Details include the Ransom Swords emblem laser etched into the arm of the frame, polarized lenses and special edition packaging.

The sunglasses are now available in the Ransom online store.

We take a look at the Summit 2.0 boots from the Ransom by adidas Originals Fall/Winter 2011 Collection. The boot is a sporty take on the hiking boot, featuring a special lacing system, mixed suede and reinforced leather uppers, and a thick outer sole. We like the color matching of the laces and the mid-sole. The two colorways of the boots will release October 2011.

Last week we presented the upcoming collaboration Alan Crepe sneakers by Ransom by adidas and Stussy. The completely new silhouette for Spring/Summer 2011 will release 3/26 in the Stussy Chapters within North America, Italy and 4/1 in Japan, as well as selected adidas Originals stores in Japan and exclusively at No6 in London and No74 in Berlin.

For Fall 2011 Ransom by adidas will be introducing the Elements Story. Here above we preview the new Tantalus boots, featuring a “Red Bedrock” photographic all-over print.

“For Fall 2011 we introduce the Element Story to the Ransom by adidas tale. A canvas that directly translates the harsh terrain and climates we intend the products to be used upon. Featured is the Tantalus in a Red Bedrock photographic print in a high abrasion leather upper, full D-ring lacing and gusset construction.”

After a series of other sneaker brands getting inspired by the classic MA-1 flight jackets, Ransom by adidas now also presents for Spring 2011 their Valley high top sneaker in the iconic black and military green colorways with orange linings. The hiking boot laces make for a nice finish. Both colorways of the sneaker are now in stock at Sneakersnstuff.

Today we get a further look into the new Ransom by adidas Spring/Summer 2011 Collection, after already having presented the new Mesa boots last week. We present the Bluff Mid, Valley Low and Dune silhouettes from the new line, each being presented in several colorways and material options. The collection is now also in stock at Schuh-You.

After a first video introduction, we can show you today some first images of the all new Ransom by adidas Mesa Boots. Coming with quite a bit of military and combat boot inspiration, the 8 inch high boots will be released for Spring/Summer 2011 in two colorways. They feature waterproof leather and suede, mixed with Cordura nylon. We actually prefer the off-white/grey colorway over the more traditional black/green version.
