Ray-Ban’s Never Hide Films set up a video both during the 2009 SXSW Music Festival in Austin, Texas. Edited by Squeak E. Clean and Rossangeles, this video showcases a mash-up of 100 different “freestyles” crammed into a minute. The outcome is rather amusing.

Ray-Ban presents their 2009 Ray-Ban Colors Collection and infuses some color into their classics. The Outdoorman, Aviator, Wayfarer and Clubmaster 2 frames by the brand get the color treatment for Summer 2009 and get you ready for the beach.

The classic Wayfarer started to come back strong a couple of years ago. Before Ray-Ban could catch on, we saw brands such as Super create hundreds of colorways of the all-time classic and successfully releasing them into the market. After Ray-Ban finally knew what was going on, the brand also started releasing a couple of new colorways of the sunglasses.

Next year Ray-Ban will be releasing the “Colorize” kit, which much like Adicolor, bundles a pair of all white Ray-Ban Wayfarers with some markers that can be used to colorize the sunglasses. Interesting move, unseen in the sunglass market, but just like with Adicolor, the final outcome is in most cases questionable. Via Kanye/Acquire.

We reported about the DVS Luxe x Ray-Ban collabortion a while back. It’s time for the release, so we give you a detailed look at the sneaker and the sunglasses that were made as part of the collaboration. DVS worked on the classic Wayfarer model and gave it a nice color lining. Matching the sunglasses, they made a low top sneaker in all black in a mix of black leather and perforated leather.

The pack will be released in limited quantities today at In4mation Hawaii.

We give you a preview of the DVS Luxe Summer/Fall 2008 collection. DVS has build a premium line under the Luxe label over the past couple of years and consistently improved the collection, which presents sneakers and clothing in premium materials.
The DVS Luxe Summer/Fall ‘08 collection is drawn from a mid-century color palette with the intentions of classic design. They introduce two new shoe models this season – the Standard Lo and Standard Hi. Otherwise they also present a range of t-shirts and hoodies in the collection.
Most exciting in the new collection is the collaboration with Ray-Ban sunglasses on the popular Wayfarer model.
