The release of the Red Bull sponsored snowboarding film ‘The Art Of Flight’ is getting closer. A couple of days ago they have released the second trailer of the film – The Metal Trailer. The world premiere of the film takes place in New York City on September 7th, 2011. (FnG)

Red Bull transformed the usually clogged streets of downtown Los Angeles into a bona fide drag strip for the Red Bull Soapbox Race, which encouraged over 40 teams to break out their toolboxes and build outrageous human-powered vehicles.

Once again Red Bull is behind an impressive new film projects in the action sports field. With The Art of Flight they will soon be releasing an impressive new snowboarding film and today we can show you the trailer and give you some first background information.

Red Bull is known for their innovative ideas and approaches when it comes to their marketing. Their latest initiative is the above Canvas 3D Skate video, featuring Joey Brezinski. Via Radcollector.

Only released a little while ago, Leica is about to introduce the first collaborative limited edition version of its D-Lux 5 camera, in cooperation with Red Bull Illume.

“Leica are to produce a special Red Bull Illume limited edition of their exciting new D-Lux 5 premium compact camera as a tribute to their involvement with the world’s biggest action sports photography competition.

Finished in matt black design with silver colored Red Bull Illume engraving, the camera’s sophisticated features, super fast lens and potential for creative on-the-spot photography make it a perfect fit for action sports photographers and amateurs looking for a portable solution.

The “Red Bull Illume Limited Edition” is the first ever camera made by Leica to be dedicated to a photography award.

It looks like the real difference is only the engraved Red Bull Illume logo. Some more added features would have been nice to set the camera apart from its in-line models. The camera is priced at 699 Euros and will release soon in the Red Bull online store.

Red Bull is once again at it and presents Red Bull Stratos – once again they go into new extremes.
