Highlighting an exclusive selection of Nike Sportswear product, Nike continues its partnership with (RED) by releasing three pinnacle items refurbished in red to raise awareness and inspire action to fight HIV/AIDS in Africa on December 1st – World Aids Day.

Available in limited quantities at select Nike Sportswear retailers globally, the NSW Melton DESTROYER (PRODUCT) RED, the NSW Cheyenne Backpack (PRODUCT)RED and the Nike Zoom Meriwether (PRODUCT)RED from Nike Sportswear’s Holiday 2011 Collection are the next installment of a call to action initiated in 2009 to help the (RED) mission of fighting HIV and AIDS.

Nike Sportswear selected items from its Holiday 2011 line retooled to highlight the fight against HIV/AIDS. The NSW Melton DESTROYER (PRODUCT) RED, inspired by classic letterman jackets is fashioned in red Melton wool with black leather sleeves and signature bonded zippers. The NSW Cheyenne Backpack (PRODUCT) RED, Nike’s highest level of waterproof construction, and the Nike Zoom Meriwether, a technical boot hailing from ACG with welded waterproof side zippers and the original NIKE (PRODUCT) RED laces represent the ultimate in protection against the elements while signifying commitment to a cause.

The Nike Sportswear (PRODUCT) RED Collection will release on December 1st in limited quantities at select Nike Sportswear retailers and Nike STADIUMS globally.

RED introduces their new handy Scarlet-X camera. Not only is the camera smaller in size than previous models, it is also much cheaper.

Last week we reported about Nike’s first collaboration with Product (RED), the (Nike) Red laces. The launch of this special get together was presented last week in London. We attended the launch event, and can now give you a little behind-the-scenes look at the celebration. Chelsea striker Didier Drogba and  U2 frontman Bono were in attendance to launch the Nike (RED) initiative to fight HIV and AIDS in Africa. Also on hand were footballers, Clint Dempsey, Joe Cole, Marco Materazzi, and many others – all of whom will also be playing the field in the Nike (RED) laces throughout the year.

It seems like (RED) is unstoppable these days. Just yesterday we presented to you the new Nike Football Laces that were released today. Also, in case you have not noticed, the Twitter homepage has turned red to support the cause.

Here is now another look at the upcoming Converse Skateboarding sneaker collaboration with Anthony Pappalardo and (RED). Ian Ginoza from the Kicks/Hi and St. Alfred family, gives us a first preview of his upcoming collaboration with Converse Red on the Chuck Taylor Low "Epic", which will be part of the Converse Red 100 collection. It come with an upper entirely made of epi leather, reminding us of the Louis Vuitton Epi collection. Also it looks like the sneaker will come with velcro straps instead of laces. The inner sole features Ian’s signature.

Several times we have already reported about the Clot Royale x Visvim Christo sandals that have to date been released in blue and black.
