The cold days of the year have arrived and therefore one needs to start layering a little more again, because even a warm jacket by itself might not do the job. Today we come across the Loose Vest by Japanese brand rehacer and we really love it.

We come across new backpacks every week and at this point hardly anything seems to be standing out. Also a backpack is one of those things that you in general do not buy a lot of. If you have a decent one, you will stick to it, until you really need a new one.

Japanese brand rehacer presents their new Deer Daypack and it is simply beautiful. The backpack is special and stands out, at the same time the colors used are classic and timeless. It is the little things that make the difference. The front pocket flap, the charm closure, the suede hit at the bottom – the outcome is a beautiful new backpack. It comes in black and tan, as well as two canvas mix options. Anoutcommune will be stocking it soon.

After a small teaser the other day, we can give you a detailed look at the collaboration between rehacer and Dr. Martens on their iconic 8-eyelet boot. It will come for Fall/Winter 2010 in 3 colorways as part of the collaborative project, featuring a wool flap with patterns developed by rehacer. All in all an interesting looking project that is very different from previous Dr. Martens collaborations.

Japanese brand rehacer we have only started covering this year and we have been very impressed by their attention to detail and especially their superb detailed work with leathers. That is also no different next season, as the brand presents some of the smartest cut-and-sew that we have see in a while.

The combination of vintage patterns, materials, metal works and classic clothing works out perfectly and makes for an overall strong collection. Their t-shirts are some of the most interesting that we have seen in a long time. Hopefully the brand will make it soon over to the US and Europe, as we have until now only seen it in Japan.

An interesting pair of shoes is coming from Rehacer. The Folk Shoes follow the same look as some boots the brand presents a couple months ago. Coming in brown and black premium leathers, white farmers sole, they feature a nice pattern around the ankle. Leather laces are a quality finishing touch.
