For the second time nonnative has teamed up with Canadian brand Reigning Champ. Using the innovative Polartec Thermal Pro fleece, the two produced the Agent Cardigan in a grey colorway and the Student Pant in black for Holiday 2011. A release is scheduled for November 5th, 2011, at Japanese retailers.

Stussy Deluxe continues with strong collaborations this season. After having worked with BePositive, The North Face and Timberland already, they now present a small series of hoodies, crewneck sweaters and cardigans with Canadian brand Reigning Champ. The heavyweight terry pieces come in several colorways, featuring subtle branding and will be released on October 9th, 2011.

We already showed you the Reigning Champ x Mark McNairy Capsule Collection the other day. Here is now a look at the mainline for Fall/Winter 2011. We can simply not think of another brand in the market, that can produce fleece at the same quality and look as the Canadian brand. Sure, Loopwheeler from Japan is another great brand in this field, but the shape and thickness of Reigning Champ product is just at a superior level.

The new collection includes recycled fleece blankets, cardigans, shawl collar sweaters, raglan oxford shirts and t-shirts. Each piece features that little added detail that makes it stand out. Haven has the collection in stock now.

Fall/Winter 2011, Reigning Champ teams up with designer Mark McNairy on a small capsule collection. The boxing-inspired collection consists of a Zip Vest, Sweatpants, and a Printed T-shirt manufactured using Reigning Champ’s signature 25 oz heavyweight french terry. Each piece comes in two colorways and is now in stock at Haven.

In an interesting new collaboration, Canadian retailer Haven has teamed up with Reigning Champ. Better known for their sweaters, Haven chose to work with Reigning Champ on a series of raglan cut button down shirts. Included are 3 styles, each coming in two colorways, with lots of nice details.

“High quality Japanese fabrics are used such as selvedge pin point oxford and mini gingham checks, triple needle stitch side seams for extra sturdiness, contrast stitched underarm eyelets for extra breathability and a unique raglan style sleeve that is rarely seen on the button down shirt for maximum range of motion. We also added subtle branding in the form of custom Milspec style woven labels near the hem. Best of all, they are built Canadian tough on home soil in beautiful British Columbia.”

Today we can preview the new Reigning Champ Spring/Summer 2011 Collection. The new line consists of 3 groups – Basic Graphic Tees, Contrast Cotton Jersey & the Signature Canadian Heavyweight Terry. From sweat shorts to new tote bags, the Canadian brand offers good staple items and also expanded their collection with some interesting new pieces.

Continuing to expand the breadth of their collection, Canadian label Reigning Champ introduces their first line of button down shirts for Fall 2011. Sticking with their sportswear influenced aesthetic, the shirts feature a raglan cut sleeve and small vents under the arm. The first range features five shirts overall: blue and white oxfords, a black and blue two-tone chambray and two plaids. Look for these at Reigning Champ retailers this fall. In an interesting new collaboration Reining Champ has gotten together with Japanese brand nonnative. The two worked on a zip-up hoodie and some sweatpants. Using recycled fleece, both pieces come with beautiful details and are of very high quality. Look out for a release in the coming weeks. Via vendor.

Teaming up with Vancouver-based Reigning Champ, Shawn Stussy and his S/Double label built this heavyweight fleece zip hoody. Made in Canada from 25 oz cotton, the sweatshirt features a chunky two-way front zipper, and simple flag tagging details. Available now here in black, grey or navy.

Reigning Champ presents a first easer image of their upcoming collaboration with Shawn Stussy’s brand S/Double. It looks like we will be seeing a collaborative hoodie, hopefully more. We will of course keep you posted!
