On May 22nd “Louis Vuitton: A Passion for Creation” will open its doors at the Hong Kong Museum of Art. To celebrate the event, the facade of the museum has been wrapped with the “After Dark” series by artist Richard Prince, who has already worked with Louis Vuitton on several other projects. Facing the Victoria Harbour of Hong Kong, this is one of the very first public art installations in Hong Kong.

The “After Dark” series consists of blown-up novels that Richard Prince has gathered. The illustrate protagonists’ stories of “After Dark” or after midnight in different cities around the world. Each second city is Hong Kong. Certainly an impressive and eye catching piece, that should result in a lot of people passing by the Louis Vuitton exhibition, which is open until August 9th.

Take a detailed look at the work of Richard Prince on the Hong Kong Museum of Art after the jump.

FUCT x Zozotown & Fall ‘07 Preview

RTEmagicC fuct fall 1.jpg FUCT x Zozotown & Fall 07 Preview
Here a little preview of a FUCT x Zozotown collaboration as well as a new design that is part of their Fall 2007 collection.
The Raglan of the Zozo collaboration is a custom body with a vintage wash and screen print, for a softer feel. The design is that of the mystic Grigori Rasputin, with the Zozo logo being that of mystical black magic enthusiast, Jimmy Page (Led Zepp) with the even more mystical BRUNETTI in the “O” of of the word “TOWN”.
The bunny skull design is similar to a Richard Prince design from the 80’s. We could not see a better fit for FUCT.
Check out more detailed shots after the jump.
