We recently previewed RMK by Freshjive’s Fall 2008. Now, at Magic, we are able to give a fuller taste of what is to come. Button downs and denim with great detailing and fun surprises throughout. For example, the rivets on the jeans read "Don’t Fuck with RMK" and each pant has unique interior printing. Another highlight is the leather. 
RMK focuses on traditional American styling. These pieces speak to that intent.

We introduce the Fall 2008 Freshjive RMK signature series line. RMK is a special edition collection by the owner of Freshjive, Richard Mendel Klotz. The line focuses on traditional American styling, which to him is the original influence of street styling. This season’s collection is focused on denim, button up woven and flannel shirts, and finer weight custom made t-shirts.Most of the collection is made in Los Angeles, including Freshjive’s own in house garment manufacturing facility, which has been in family operation since the mid 1970s.

Some detailed highlights include black and white t-shirt graphics with images of iconic American mavericks Allen Ginsberg, William S. Burroughs, Ernest Hemingway, and Martin Luther King. Woven shirts are made of high count cottons and wools, in traditional styling. The jeans are available in various high quality denim, also in a more traditional narrow fit.

Freshjive introduced the first product under its new RMK Signature Series line a while back.  RMK stands for Richard Mendel Klotz. The first drop was only available at Livestock in Canada, these pieces will now also find their way into other stores.
The latest drop by the line consists of t-shirt with photo prints of some inspiring people from the music scene. These are now available at Boundless NY.
