For Holiday 2010 footwear brand Common Projects gets together with Robert Geller on a capsule collection, after having previously introduced a boot together. This time around they concentrate on clothing rather than footwear. The line includes a nice sand colored coat, made in Japan, charcoal pants and a grey shirt. The small collection is now in stock at ForwardForward.

While we’ve given you a look at the boot collaboration between shoe brand Common Projects and designer Robert Geller before, what many people don’t realize is that the initiative consisted of more than just footwear.

“The idea was a cross-collaboration, where the Robert Geller crew designed leather goods; boots, a bag and belt, and Common Projects designed the clothes. Each brand would then produce the pieces the other brand designed. The result is the perfect outfit to take on a trip: A hat, trenchcoach, button up shirt, slim pant, razor thin belt, leather boots with removable spat and a suede weekend bag.”

Product aside, the book itself, shot and designed by Peter Poopat (1/2 of Common Projects), is a work of beauty all on it’s own.

Robert Geller worked together with Common Projects on some rustic hiking boots. The rough, dark suede lace-up boots featured zippers on the instep and double buckles at the top, while coming with an overall worn-in and used look. Look out for these to release later this year. Via T Magazine.

This September, the Levi’s® brand is partnering with celebrated emerging men’s fashion designer Robert Geller to unveil a limited-edition, high-end collection that unites the denim leader’s DNA with Geller’s strong, sophisticated aesthetic and tailoring. The Robert Geller for Levi’s® assortment will be introduced at select Bloomingdale’s stores and on Bloomingdales.com at the beginning of New York Fashion Week on September 10th. Select pieces will be available at key Levi’s® Store locations across America starting on September 21st and in Japan later this fall.

We gave you a sneak peek at Robert Geller’s forthcoming Levi’s capsule collection earlier this week. Now, here’s a look at the entire 11-piece collection that binds Geller’s worn-in, old school aesthetic with Levi’s timeless appeal. Vintage styles catch details only the “Best New Menswear Designer in America” could pull off this flawlessly. So refreshingly unclean. Available starting September 10th at select Bloomingdale’s and Levi’s retailers including online at bloomingdales.com.

Designer Robert Geller has created a collaborative collection with Levi’s.

“The 11-piece capsule range will be sold in 12 Bloomingdale’s units, on bloomingdales.com and in seven Levi’s stores in New York, San Francisco, Miami Beach, Beverly Hills and Bucktown, Ill., beginning Sept. 10.

The collection will be celebrated with a party at Bloomingdale’s Manhattan flagship on Sept. 9, and is featured in the September issue of GQ. The project comes after Geller’s win in GQ’s Best New Menswear Designer in America competition in February.

Prices for the collection range from $95 for the 1853 sun-bleached T-shirt to $575 for the hooded parka with blanket lining. The jeans in the collection are $275 and the shirts range from $195 to $265.”

From what we can tell from these first previews of the line, you can definitely look out for something good. Compared to his regular line, prices are of course pretty good.
