We get a first taste of the new Rogues Gallery Fall 2010 Collection. Once again the brand presents lots of solid looks in the coming season, with the outerwear and blazers especially impressing us. Overall an easy to wear style that is good for any occasion.

Portland, Maine’s Rogues Gallery aligns with awarding winning author Philip Hoare to commemorate the reading of his book The Whale in their hometown. The label produced a small collection of custom dyed, hand-printed, special edition Whale tees that are available now online at Roguesgallery.com.

Calling on Rogues Gallery designer Alex Carleton (the brands first creative collaborator in their 99-year history), L.L. Bean reinterprets the OG 1912 Duck Boot as part of the new L.L. Bean Signature collection. Retaining the original silhouette and rubber bottom, Alex switched out the standard leather upper for a worn-in waxed cotton – bringing a bit of street flavor to the New England classic.

Portland, Maine-based Rogue’s Gallery meets NYC retailer John Bartlett on an exclusive collection of tees, bags and accessories. Characterized by carrying pouches in leather, plaid wool and printed canvas, 70’s leather bar inspired tees, and hand-made, hand screened log carriers made of old sails, the RGJB collection brings forth a very east coast Americana feel. Rogues Gallery puts their unique spin on the classic duffel. Initiated in October of this year, RG has decided to produce one-off bags every month indefinitely. Handmade in their Portland, Maine workshop, the bag features nautical grade hardware, a heavy-gauge two-way zipper, and the finest quality leather. Includes a detachable dop kit for those days on the road. This piece is one-of-a-kind and is now available at the Rogues Gallery online store for $900 USD.

Rogues Gallery’s classic Quoddy produced deck boot is given the full vamp leather treatment for Fall/Winter 2009. If you didn’t already know, Quoddy is synonymous with hand made in Maine. Nothing we haven’t seen before, but this all black boot is a certified banger. Now available direct from Rogues Gallery for $498 USD. Lower cut boat shoes and canoe mocs are also available, but not quite as practical for these wet, cool days ahead.

Never Sleep – Rogues Gallery’s slighty darker, less nautical diffusion line – has released their Fall 2009 Collection. Comprised of simple graphic tees, well-constructed jackets, toques, scarves, hoodies and collared items, the latest offering revolves around a mainly black, red and white palette and a “carpe noctum” theme.
